I am pretty sure someone put a red spider in the box a couple of weeks ago and I would love to get it back. i also somehow lost a yellow rhyno that day. imagine going like 4 years without losing a disc just to have two vanish from your bag and they weren't even drivers, lol.

We would like to ask you all to show your support for honoring Leroy Jenkins by signing a petition requesting the City of Medina to name the Medina Disc Golf Course at Roscoe-Ewing and Sam Masi Parks after Leroy. We would like to gather 1,000 signatures by August 1st to present to the city. On Sept. 2nd. There is an unsanctioned, singles tournament in honor of Leroy at the Medina course. We would hope to have some preliminary response from the city by then to announce at the tournament. Registration for the tournament is now open and you are all invited to play.

Indoor Putt and Approach Skills Competition!

60% payout! Top 33% of each Division Paid(A,B,C). $25 Per Player Amateur Putt/Approach Contest!!! June 5, 2020 @ 6pm @ LNSP East
I am constructing the format for this Putt/Approach Contest. We hope to have future leagues come fall but thought this would be a nice introduction to this facility and warm up for your outdoor summer season!
There will be like 4-6 people on each card. Each player will get 2 Full Rounds of Throws. Each Round will be played as follows - Each group will start on a basket at the shortest distance. Each player will take 5 throws from that distance until all players have completed that distance and then the group moves back to the next distance and so on until each player has completed their round. We will have stations up to 170' feet for the competition.
Scoring and Further Details to be Explained.
Also we will possibly have a 220' Ace/CTP and an Elevated Tee Shot if the Facility will allow(some extra events like the elevated shot may cost $1 per throw so bring some cash for extra throws!)

This Saturday (October 19th) we will be celebrating 10 years of disc golf at Punderson with a Glow Doubles event!!! This event will feature the Original 9 holes (with some add-ons) for a 13 hole layout played twice through as Best Shot Doubles format. The cost is $50 per team, with each player receiving a custom stamped glow Innova disc and $30 from each team going to payouts in cash!!! Save the date!! The funnest day of disc golf is less then 2 monthes away, Sunday, September 16th at Lake Shore Park in Ashtabula Ohio is the 2018 Sticky Fingers. This is a truely unique disc golf event and one that you definitely don't want to miss. There will be a rib burn off with tons of awesome food, live music, cold beer, classic car cruise in, and a fun 2 part disc golf event, fun for the whole family!! Part 1 is a Birdie Bash where everyone plays from the red tees and gets 2 shots to score points by getting an Ace, a birdie, or hitting metal. Part 2 is a bring your own partner doubles scamble where you will get to choose which tees you play from (red, white, or blue) so all skill levels are welcome. Medina will also be celebrating 200 years at Memorial Park /Poolside. MDG is invited to help with the festivities.
MDG will be running a Junior tournament for the 7th year
The "Frozen Fingers on the Fairway" Tour will take place @ Roscoe/Masi on January 14, 2018

Medina Disc Golf is proud to say that we finally have concrete tee pads at Sam Masi Disc Golf Park We want to thank all the players that helped us raise money for this project. If you attended our RMP tournaments, bought a raffle ticket to win a disc golf bag or bought a MDG tee shirt. We thank you. Two players stepped up to the tee and gave us cash donations Chris Hinckley AC/PC and Dustin Alcorn SCDGAOH. We also want to thank the NEO for considering our proposal and giving us money to complete our project. A special thanks goes out to the Medina City Parks dept. for their patience in helping us prep and install the pads. But this project would not of been completed without my amazing husband Leroy Jenkins. With life's adversities he continues to be the backbone of Medina Disc Golf. Enjoy!

Not only is this a fun event for the seasoned player, it is a great way to get others involved as the player's pack is only $30 (that's $10 per disc not to mention the other items that come with the pack).
