On Thursday July 5th, Friends of the Memorial Pool are having a celebrity and pro disc golf event. We are looking for some players for this event. meet time is 6ish at the poolside pavilion. All seasoned disc golfers welcome, as we will be paired with people who have never played before. This is a great oppotunity to be ambassadors for our club and city (even if you don't live here, you will be an honorary club member for a night). growing the sport one small community event at a time.
Also!! the very next day, there will be a celebration at the pool and a learn to disc golf clinic for pool goers. any one have easy to throw putters or mids lying around?? Icandi graphics will be accepting donations (you will get a sweet shirt out of the deal) to give away to new players as they complete a 9 hole challenge.
