Wet
Lots of standing water to slog through. We played front side short pads to yellow pins, and 13, 14,15* to 18, 23, OG25 and 26 long pads to yellow baskets. It was nice to have the pavillion to wait out the heaviest part of the downpour. Wet.

Friday the 13th; we played tough-shot doubles.
Tough-shot doubles format today meant:
a) when disc is thrown in the basket, that team is done with that hole. Teammate does not have to repeat the putt.
b) odd-dog throws twice each time and card ...

At least it finally warmed up
Today's CTPs went to Jake L ( hole 4) and Caleb A (holes 6, 8 and 17). The gnats were in full force, as was the humidity. Ace fund now at $50. Hopefully Isaias will treat us kindly and next week's game will be less torturous conditions.

Doubles action
Trent took CTPs on holes 1 and 23, while 19 went to Chuck and 2 went to James. Luke and yours truly managed to put together a solid round and grab the win. Shot of the day had to be Luke's drive on 13, which bounced off the rim of the basket for a drop-in deuce.

Down to one Ace Fund again
Luke Stamps got paid on a hole 2 skip shot that dropped from the band to the basket while barely hitting chains. As he was odd-dog last night, his partner threw just for giggles, and almost backed it up with another skip shot that didn't miss by much!

Join us in Jacksonville this week
The regularly-scheduled SAFE-D Meeting is cancelled for 3/31/17 because almost all the usual players will be at doubles at Fore Palms, which begins at 3pm. I'm told that Rev. Lovejoy will begin signups around noon. Good luck to all StrongArmers in the Jacksonville Open this weekend!
