Sad to see the 'glow season' ending but...Next week the SAFE-D Meeting tee time moves to 5:30 and will go later as the daylight itself allows. At first we play one of the 18-hole layouts, then move to a 20-, 21-, then the full 25-hole layout when the days are longest. Check out the layout at the St Johns County Fairgrounds page here on DGscene. titled "Fairgrounds Fling Forty" under Courses tab. No decision has been finalized yet, but that's the one in the lead right now for tournament use this year. It will allow safer play with very little to no stringing. Plans on the table include some alternate pin placements, and some red (shorter) tee pads for use by some divisions in the tournament on May 30 2015.
