K Frad and Kurt Maty ended the season tied for 8th place...the last playoff spot, and played a sudden death round. Congrats to Kurt on sealing your spot in the finals and winning a trophy!

$10 was added to the playoff pot for a GRAND TOTAL OF $739!!!

I dont want rescheduling to result in a change in the playoff line up. It will be a battle of will power and good luck to everyone!!! LAST WEEK OF PLAY WILL BE OCT 30TH. The playoff round will be the following Tuesday Nov 6th. Teams will be chosen in order on the leaderboard (1st and 2nd are a team... 3rd and 4th and so on). Any tie for 8th place will be a "sudden death" style format playing holes 1,2,23, and 24 in a loop until theres a winner. As for the ACE POOL if there are no aces the last week of regular play there will be a throw-off for half the pool. The other half will carry over to the playoff round with another throw-off if there still isnt an ace. IF THERE ARE ANY ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

This was a fun season, and to the 103 people that showed up for the $1000 ace pool...I apologize it was so hectic and off to a late start but you guys gave me my best DG experience so far and it was the SHIT!!!

ALL 4 TEAMS WILL BE PAID OUT AT THE END OF THE YEAR. Season will end the last week in October. Plenty of time to move up in the standings...and it wont be too long until we get break out the glowies again

When the rain let up we got back out there and Kurt Maty immediately throws an ace on hole 19 for $460. Congrats Kurt!!! Thanks to everybody that came out tonite... 103 players showed and there were 4 aces... Taggart Anderson, Greg Hart, BDub, and Ryan Duffy. That was completely hectic and i thought that things went fairly smooth. There was a lot of complaining from people who showed for the first time and thought that things should be done differently to suit their needs... Biggest complaint was starting late... I started signing people in at 5:45 and wasnt expecting 100+ people. Its not fair to change the schedule for the regulars that attend just so the ace hunters are happy. I have learned that people WILL cry, and i got to see the faces that do... To those that would rather help out i greatly appreciated it (jay binienda, ed carpus, ken mango, ryan koeppen, brian frawley to name a few) i will crunch numbers and get scores and ace pool updated as soon as i can

It has been brought to our attention that disc golfers hopping the fence is becoming a problem. Everybody needs to remember that these are peoples back yards.You wouldnt want people hopping in your yard all the time. Not to mention one of the residents is involved with the city council. This means that if they oppose the DG course, it could very well be pulled. One of the residents has agreed to give his number for retrieving discs from his/neighbors yards. (586) 873-9666. please play safe on the holes involving backyards. Bad throws happen and if your disc goes over the fence maybe try leaving a note on the fence with your number. We need to respect the residents alongside the course just as much as the course itself.

I would like to welcome everybody back to this years league. Ken did a great job running the league last year and would like to keep the format mostly the same to allow players of all caliber to be able to come out and have a good time. Here is the format for this year:

$5 random dubs
$5 ACE POOL
CALI has option of paying extra $5 in ACE POOL for their 2nd shot
*$1 from every ACE POOL ENTRY will go towards the playoffs @ the end of the year along with any remaining ACE POOL money, to ensure a good payout @ the end of the year. TOP 8 PLAYERS WILL PLAYOFF

Points- (we will be awarding points for placing)

15 pts.....ACE
10 pts.....completing a round with a score of -24 or better
5 pts.....DOTS (basket or higher, no bottom pole...too questionable during glow rounds)
5 pts.....1st place round win

Please be sure to get to Brys a little early today and get reg'd early enough to allow a 6:30 tee off. We finished in the dark last week because alot of people showed up right before 6:30. We are expecting around 80 people tonight which will put 6-8 people on every hole.

On a side note. There was alot of trash being thrown on the ground last week by our league players. This will not be tolerated! There are plenty of garbage cans around the park PLEASE USE THEM if that is too hard for you to do stay home.
