2 people were making out on the park bench behind me but I didnt make eye contact to see if they even knew what happened. It was windy so I disced up to my Over-Throwing Camelot Hybrid Warship and threw it slightly right, it got some wind bounces and finally drifted slightly left into the right side chains and held. My first legitimate Florida ace after my first one was through a PVC hoop. 2nd Ace of the road-trip just 7 days after I hit the short hole in Tennessee.

I decided to throw one from the long tees and one from the short tees. I asked my wife if she would like to walk along and video cause I was sure I was going to get an ace given the short distances of all of the holes. I grabbed 3 discs (Mako, Gator, and Verdict) and my putter. Boom 2nd hole . . .Old trusty orange Star Mako in for the win. I turned around with my hands in the air after I threw the almost putt and apparently my wife never even saw me.

After driving to this course last weekend and finding a barricade halfway into the park saying road closed I decided to contact the city. They said the course was open but the road was closed due to a sinkhole (water main break). The only sinkhole I found was about 12 inches around at the very edge of the road. Anyways I threw my orange (jackolantern) beadless Star Gator out to the right and let it dive in between the large evergreen trees. Boom!

WINTER #1 . . .I was playing a round and scouting for lost discs. I stepped up and threw my Star Mako on a sexy anhyzer and thought it might catch some basket but it went in. I clapped and the old man and his wife and 2 dogs didn't even know what had happened.

Threw my trusty Orange Star Mako with a slight turnover and it faded slowly into the front of the basket. I held the pose the whole time as I hoped it would stay in the basket. Unfortunately for me . . . Adam MacPherson also aced #7 about 5 minutes later to take half of the $16 ace pool. Congrats on the ace Adam . . . you and Nick Williams are in fine company as the only 2 people to split an ace pool with me that was less than $20 total.

I have to give thanks to the Disc Golf Game app I downloaded recently where I can throw massive bomb anhyzers . . . I did that tonight with my Yellow TP Warship into a 15 MPH headwind on the 247' Short tee on #3. I flexed that anhyzer out about 50' left of the pin and it came all the way back with the headwind and at the very last second cut back and into the chains. I called for it to go in about 40' short of the pin but didn't expect it to get so stable at the end. Probably the most excited I have gotten for an ace. My second at my first permanent course I ever designed!!!!

It took 29 rounds from short to get an ace (and 83 long rounds) at my first designed course. I have been talking about it for a while how I don;t have an ace. I let the Orange Beadless Star Gator out to the right avoided the tree and it crashed in the front side of the basket and hit chains and stayed in.

Threw my Yellow TP Warship out with a slight hyzer on a high angle and immediately thought I should have thrown the Gator. I thought it was going to carry too far past the basket but it slammed right side and stayed in. This is not my cheapest league ace ever after splitting $15 with Nick Williams at Valley View once.

Sidearm Skip Ace with my overstable blue 164 VIP Sorcerer. Skipped softly into the chains. This also ocurred right after I had doog poop odor wafting around me from Lori'a dog . . . It will go down as a memorable ace because of the poop smell but also because I had to split $15 with Nick Williams for a $7.00 ace pool!

First time playing the new Red Fox and I ace the only hole that stayed exactly the same on the re-design. Flat, straight and wide open and I throw a spike hyzer and it goes in. 3rd ace with this Star Gator to go with 5 Aces on my other Gator. That is Ace #21 (The last one I had doesn't count at VV because it was an alternate tee layout).

My group agreed to split the ace pool 2/3rds for the acer, 1/3 for the other 3 guys. I had also said I would donate half of my ace pool winnings to the beginning of a new club in Milwaukee. I ended up with $73 so did the MADGC and Mark Olver, Pat Brah, and Dustin Falkenberg ended up with $24 a piece. My 4th ace on #8 and third flicked with a Starfire (although it was with three different starfires). It was my first real ace since I hit this hole in September (aside from the Blockhouse Tiki Ace)

Pre League round unfortunately . . .69 rounds finally an ace at Spassland. I threw my red star gator out to the right and about 30' short of the basket I figured it was in. Just enough hyzer to fade into the basket like the Gator is supposed to do! 155' ace (5th with the Gator, and 15th overall).

I threw my straightest driver (my pro starfire . . . also the disc I aced #8 at Valley View just a week or so ago) right through the trees that split the fairway. It was as straight as can be and it was aimed a little short of the basket. It hit the ice and snow pack just short of the basket and skipped straight up into the chains, good thing it hit the middle or it would have been kicked out for sure. My longest ace to date 242' and my second in a row with this disc. Also my third ace on the year and it is only early March.

I knew this was going to be the first hole I aced with a sidearm because I have smashed chains and basket many times and parked it a lot since learning the sidearm technique. I threw my tyedyed Pro Starfire (SL) with some hyzer let it hit the ice and frozen mulch and it gently skipped up and into the chains. I would have been no further than 5' away if it didn't go it so I just got lucky it went in when I tried to park it.

I threw the more stable Orange Star Gator on this 182' hole on a high line and I think it was past the basket and to the right when it just turned hard left and dove into the basket. Brandon and I stood there in shock because we both thought it was nearly in the woods past the basket. It barely hit any chains and it was just surreal!

I threw my more stable Orange Gator on this monstrous 143' hole just slightly to the right of the basket and as soon as I let go I was confident I had myself an ace. 10 people could have seen it but they wouldn't even know if it was a good shot or not as they were either gardening or playing basketball. I was happy and I celebrated internally.

I threw the Star Gator ( my money approach disc) with some hyzer, it hit the edge of the mulch which is sloped skipped way up in the air (which Gators ne\/er do), tickled a branch on the tree in front of the basket and into the chains. My third ace with the Star Gator, My 3rd ace of 2011, and my 4th ace at \/alley \/iew (all different holes 4, 7, 8, 9) I think I will take the funny money option and buy myself a brand spanking new bag!

I threw my Star Gator out to the right slightly and elevated so it would dive back and stick under the basket, but I must have thrown it too high because it went right in! I sortof yelled woooohoooo and then I looked around and realized there was noone within earshot . . . so I celebrated by myself . . . again (4 out of my 7 aces are alone). This was my 7th ace overall, my third at Valley View (7, 8, and 9) and my second ace with the Star Gator, and my second of the year. Oh yeah and I had moved the basket back to this location just 2 days ago (it hasn't been here since November) !

After losing my third (all three actually) match in the inaugural LDS Match Play Series I had nothing left to do but go for aces. Went for the ace on 8 and it didn't go well, but tried on 9 also. I said I was going to kiss the tree that is like 5 feet from the basket and in, well I missed the tree by about an inch and the disc stayed in. Second ace with the Star Spider, second ace at Valley View, and 6th ace overall. Booya, nice start to 2011!!!!

I let the disc go with a big anhyzer trying to thread around some trees that were straight in line with the basket and it went to far left to start out of my hand, it just barely nicked a tree about 115' off the tee and pushed it just enough to the right to keep that anhyzer into the basket.
