Kidding! But that’s the nature of waitlist spots — you usually won’t know until right before the event, possibly day of. Plan accordingly.

I was promoted off the waitlist at 8:00 pm a few years back.

Daniel, your chances aren't too bad! The Otter Open traditionally has a lot of drops because of the high cost of lodging and the weather. I'd suggest sticking it out!
