They have been a huge part of the league and the growth we have seen in the past few years. Also I want to thank Alyse again for her contributions to the raffle and for hooking up John James with some booze for coming in 6th and just out of the skins match. Big thanks to Greg Harrell and Alyse for paying for the pizza last night as well! I also want to thank everyone that came out this year, those that bought raffle tickets, and those that helped me run flags out on the course or helped me in anyway they could. We had a total of 16 prizes last night for the raffle! I cant remember who won what, but Bob Tillotson won BOTH Chainstars and some weed, Matt Clark won the GRIP bag, Rob York won the smoker, Travis Richards won the 10 disc mystery box, and John James won the shoulder bag/disc/accessory combo. Skins Match: The date for the skins match is TBD, but I will keep everyone posted on when it will be. Should be sometime mid September. We will be playing the MEGA COURSE from the longs and to all B positions on the west course! (1-4 East, 12-14 East, 3-10 West, 16-18 West) We will be playing for $50 per skin and whoever gets the most skins will win an additional $100! Anyone is welcome to join us and watch or even just play behind us. I want to get video of the skins match as well, so if anyone is interested in recording our round or knows of someone, please let me know. I don't want to spend a TON of money, but I am willing to compensate someone for their time.

Fall League: We will start the fall league on 9/17 and will run until 11/26. $20 all-in ($10 buy-in/$10 ace pool). Ace pool payout will be 75% and the ace pool from the summer league will roll over into the fall league ($80). This will be a travel league once again and we will be possibly adding a new course if I get the owners permission for us to come. We will be playing Indy, Kensington, Northridge, Fieldstone Acres, and Hudson Mills primarily. Hope to see some of you there!

We had 13 players on the West course to A playing from the white tees for double points night. Pre round CTP for the 10 raffle tickets was won by Chris Smith, and the pre round CTP for a disc was won by John James. CTP and 50/50 on the course was won by David Mayers, taking $13 and a disc. We also had a DISGUSTING ace on hole 1 by Greg Harrell, taking home $115 and 50 points at a critical time! Nice shot!

Winning tonight, shooting a 41 was David Mayers and John James, splitting $50. Matt Clark playing Cali took 2nd with a 42 and taking home $20. Nice shooting everyone!

We sold 89 raffle tickets tonight, adding another $170 to the player payouts. $13 was added from the 50/50 as well, adding a total of $183 to the player payouts, putting it to $1744. Tickets will also be available next week for anyone who want to buy in.

Any extra money will go towards the club to pay for the trophy and some other things bought throughout the year. We will start doing the raffle around 5:20PM next week, so please come early to get your pre round throws done so we can start the raffle. We also will have pizza for everyone in appreciation of everyone that has been coming out. Thank you everyone that has contributed in some way. This league wouldn't be what it is without all of you!

Next week we will be playing the OG course to the A position from the white tees (1,2 East, 16 East, 2-10 West, 16-18 West, 1 West, 17 East, 18 East). Don Cantwell smashed hole 12 from the red tee for $190 and a much needed 25 points. Nice shot!

We had an another ace tonight on hole 8 by John James playing cali from the longs! Sadly it was a second shot and Johhny didn't buy the 2nd shot ace. Either way, great shot dude!

Alex Skillman won the CTP on 15 and FINALLY with an ace on hole 17 (also the 50/50 hole) was Alex Dudek for $2385 + $30 from the 50/50!!! Great shot!!!

Winning tonight was Alex Dudek and Hayden Carroll, shooting a nasty 45, splitting $90. Taking second was Ben Haines and Christiaan Deasy with a 48, splitting $40. Third place was Rob Smith and Nick Greene with a 49, splitting $20. Great shooting everyone!

Now that the ace pool has been drained, I expect the crowd to drop down a bit. Points are close at the top for the skins match at the end of the year, so these last six weeks will be critical for those of you in the top 10-12. There is still plenty of time to get points and get into the skins match.

We also had double raffle tickets tonight and sold a bunch of tickets (Greg Harrell- 40/$70, Rob York- 20/$35, Bill Gables- 20/$35, John James/Bob- 20/$35, Rob Smith- 10/$20, Don Cantwell- 10/$20, Justin Leibold- 4/$10) adding another $225 to the payouts, putting it to $1321! That puts us to $58.11 per skin for the skins match, including the guaranteed payouts the top 5 will get as well (1st-$100, 2nd-$75, 3rd-$50, 4th-$25, 5th-$25). I am running an unsanctioned singles tournament this Sunday at a private course, Field Stone Acres in the Holly area. Shooting a ridiculous 47 from the longs was Justin Leibold and Dave Hillier splitting $80! Tied for 2nd and last cash was Jay B/Jason Kirkaldy, Andrew Rusinek/David Mayers and Alex Skillman/myself. We decided to have a throw off for the $60, and Alex Skillman/myself won the throw off. Alyse Greenhalgh hit the longest putt on hole 12, Emily Avery got the CTP on hole 7 and I won the 50/50 on hole 17 for $25. Great shooting everyone! Reminder, if you leave before payouts, you will not have a chance when we have a throw off. Try to stick around if you think you will be close to cashing. If you leave, you forfeit your chance at payouts.

If you are interested in playing in the Field Stone Acres Open on June 1st, please register as soon as you can. We will have a pop up cash league round (not a part of the league points) the day before. This will allow you to come check out the course and practice. We will have lunch and drinks provided (BYOB), a 50/50 raffle, CTP's on the course and some pre/lunch events to play to win prizes, as well as a 50/50 for each round. Thanks to all of you that came out last night! We had 32 players on the West course playing to the A baskets. We had 5 people buy into the club ($100) and 29 players bought into the 50/50 ($29), putting the payouts to $962. 30 players bought into the ace pool, adding another $150 and putting the ace pool to $1440!

Winning with a nasty 41 was Kyle Greenhalgh and Ben Haines splitting $80. Taking 2nd was Jay B and Trout shooting a 42 and splitting $40. Tied for 3rd was John James/David Mayers and Alex Dudek/Matt Clark with a throw off for $30, John/David won the throw off. And last cash was Kris Woody and Kurt Lymburner shooting a 44 and splitting $10. Nice shooting everyone!

I am going to purpose a change in payouts where the top 3 teams will be paid if we have around the same amount of players each week. I will have a new payout sheet printed out for you guys to check out. On Wednesday I will have a group vote before the round to decide if we will do top heavy payouts or just keep it the same. I am sure most of you are fine with not splitting the last $10 with your partner and letting it go to the winners/top teams. But like I said, we will have a vote and I will decide next week.

We also will be having a double points round in 2 weeks (May 28th), next time we run through the East course. We will also be doing double raffle tickets that day for both the 50/50 raffle and the end of year raffle for prizes. Prizes include TWO Chainstar Lites, a Grip bag, discs, apparel, and lots more. Tickets will be available until the last day of league, we will also do the drawing that day. Remember that you will also receive one free ticket for every 4 rounds you play, if you are a club member. I will tally up the tickets throughout the season and you will have a (#) next to your name, that will represent how many extra tickets you will receive. Grab some tickets and help support the club!

Again, if you are interested in playing in the Field Stone Acres Open on June 1st, please reach out to me or feel free to sign up on DGS. I will allow walk ups if we do not fill, but I would like to have a head count so I can be prepared for the event. We will do a league on the course the day before (not counted towards this league), so some of you can check it out and practice. If you don't want to travel, you can camp at the course to save some travel time as well. Winning tonight with an AMAZING 42 was Gary Chirhart and Don Cantwell splitting $80. Second place was Alex Skillman and Colin Sherrod, splitting $40. Third place was Jake Forester and Jeremy Wilkinson with a 46, splitting $20 and we had a throw off for last cash between myself/Kyle Greenhalgh and David Mayers and Carroll Stevens, with winner takes all and myself and Kyle won the throw off.

Reminder, you can buy raffle tickets anytime, until the end of the year. We will be doing 2 separate league days where we will do double tickets. I will keep everyone posted on what days I decide on that. I just got another Chainstar Lite and a Grip Ax5 bag to add to the raffle, so there already are some great prizes for you guys!

If you are interested in playing in the Field Stone Acres Open, please register as soon as you can. I imagine we will fill, so grab a spot while you can! We will have pre round events, CTP's on the course, as well as a 50/50 raffle with 25% of the 50% going to Bob for course maintenance and the other 25% going to Club Indy Lake to help pay for lunch. Lunch and water will be provided, BYOB. We will be able to camp there overnight, so if you want to check the course out the night before, I may run a doubles round that night for cash. Taking the win this week with a NASTY 42 was Matt Clark and Alex Skillman splitting $80. Taking 2nd and splitting $30 was Jay B and Alex Dudek. Tied for third was John James/Chris Smith ($20) and Don Cantwell/Sean McGee ($10) with a 47. Great shooting everyone!

We had 3 more people buy into the club ($60), and $27 was added into the payouts from the 50/50. Rob Smith (5@$20) and Alex Dudek (5@$20) bought raffle tickets adding $40 to the payouts as well putting it to a total of $608. We had around $1100 dollars in the payouts last year, so we are already projected to pass that, which will increase the amount per skin in the skins match. We played for $30 a hole last year, lets try to make it $50 a hole! Thanks to all of you contributing! We will have some great prizes for you for the end of year raffle, including a Chainstar Lite!

I keep forgetting to mention this to everyone during sign up, but every 4 weeks you play in the league, you will receive 1 free raffle ticket for the end of year raffle, but only if you are a club member. All club members get 100% ace pool payout, entry into the point series where the top 5 play in the Club Indy Lake Skins Match, as well as the free raffle ticket entries for ever 4 rounds played.

Thanks to all of you that came out tonight for our second week! We had 25 players out on the West course! We had 6 more players buy into the club ($120) and $22 from the 50/50 added into the club payouts, putting it at $481. All 25 bought into the ace pool as well as the extra cali ace shot was bought in, adding another $130, putting the ace pool at $835 for next week!

Taking the win with a 43 was Jason Kirkaldy and Rob York! Tied for 2nd was Sean McGee/ Matt Clark ($20) and David Mayers ($30) playing cali, shooting a 44. Tied for 3rd was Greg Harrel/ Kris Woody ($10) and Jay B/ Chris Smith with a 47. Jason Kirkaldy won the 50/50, and Kurt and Matt Clark won the CTP's.

Registration is open for Field Stone Acres Open, a non-sanctioned, 2 round tourney on June 1st at Field Stone Acres, a private course in the Highland/Holly area, ran by Club Indy Lake. Free lunch provided. There will be a pre round event to win prizes, a 50/50 raffle, CTP's and a 50/50 on the course. There is a max of 32 players, due to overlapping holes/same baskets used for different holes. The course is a lot of fun, and has a few funky baskets that you will either hate to love or love to hate. We will have a PRO(940+ rated), AM(under 940 rated), 40+, and women's divisions for cash payouts. I am going to try to get trophies for 1st place as well. We would love to have some of you out and help support Club Indy Lake! The league will most likely be at Field Stone Acres the week before the tourney so some of you can practice the course. I still have to talk to Bob about that so stay tuned for any schedule changes/updates.

This week we will be playing the West course to the A position, with holes 2, 11 and 17 from longs. 50/50 will be on hole 4 and the free CTP's will be on holes 7 and 14. 5PM cut-off. I will have scorecards for you all with hole assignments, please grab one for your group before the round. This will inform you what hole to start on and if you need to grab a CTP or 50/50 flag. Please please please remember to grab the flags if your card says to. I will be there early to set out the flags and will have my net and techdisc set up for anyone who wants to use it.

Raffle tickets and 50/50 tickets for the end of year raffle will be available for purchase as well for anyone that wants to get in. We will have a ton of prizes to win, including a Chainstar lite, discs, bags, apparel and much more. Tickets will be available all season. I also will be accepting any donations towards the CTP box, as well as the raffle if anyone wants to donate and help out.

Thanks to everyone that came out! We had a great turnout of 21 players! We had 16 players buy into the club, as well as 19 players that bought into the 50/50, which puts the club fund to $339! 20 people bought into the ace pool and Jay B playing cali paid for the extra shot towards the ace pool, which will put it to $705 for next week! If you see a $$ sign next to your name, that means you have bought into the club.

Taking the win with a 45 and splitting $70 was Christoff and Marty! Great shooting guys! Gary and Matt Clark took 2nd with a 49 and split $30 and Nolan Johnson and Greg took 3rd with a 50 splitting $10. Jay B and Sean McGee won the CTP's and Alex Skillman won the 50/50 for $19.

Regarding CTP and 50/50 flags, next week I will have the CTP flags out on the course before the round. Please try to grab the flag if your group is last to pass by that flag. I know it is hard to know if you are last to pass the flags, so starting next week I will set out holes for your group start on, so I can have specific groups grab flags. I will hand out scorecards before the round and it will have what hole your group will go on and if you need to grab a flag.

Out of bounds: if you are unsure if you are out of bounds, refer to the tee sign or please contact me (pictures work as well). There is a lot of casual water out there too, so in the case you are in casual water, you are allowed to play either from your lie (have fun with that), or directly behind it from a dry position, any distance behind the lie (in line with the basket and your disc). Any area that has OB should have flags as the OB line. If there are no flags, but your disc is surrounded by water and the tee sign says it is an OB area, you are OB. Please play the drop zones on holes that have them if you are to go OB.

Next week, I will start selling raffle tickets for the big end of year prize raffle. Prices are 1 for $5/5 for $20/10 for $35. We will have discs, bags, apparel, gift cards, and more, with the top prize being a Chainstar Lite! 50/50 raffle tickets will be available as well for the same price, with the drawings taking place on the last week of the season. Tickets will be available all season. We will have two separate weeks where we will sell double tickets as well. I will keep everyone posted when those dates will be. All proceeds collected from the raffle and half of the 50/50 will go towards the end of year payouts and help fund the skins match at the end of the year. I also will be running a tourney at a private course in Holly on June 1st to help build some funds as well.
