Thanks to everyone that came out! We had a great turnout of 21 players! We had 16 players buy into the club, as well as 19 players that bought into the 50/50, which puts the club fund to $339! 20 people bought into the ace pool and Jay B playing cali paid for the extra shot towards the ace pool, which will put it to $705 for next week! If you see a $$ sign next to your name, that means you have bought into the club.
Taking the win with a 45 and splitting $70 was Christoff and Marty! Great shooting guys! Gary and Matt Clark took 2nd with a 49 and split $30 and Nolan Johnson and Greg took 3rd with a 50 splitting $10. Jay B and Sean McGee won the CTP's and Alex Skillman won the 50/50 for $19.
Regarding CTP and 50/50 flags, next week I will have the CTP flags out on the course before the round. Please try to grab the flag if your group is last to pass by that flag. I know it is hard to know if you are last to pass the flags, so starting next week I will set out holes for your group start on, so I can have specific groups grab flags. I will hand out scorecards before the round and it will have what hole your group will go on and if you need to grab a flag.
Out of bounds: if you are unsure if you are out of bounds, refer to the tee sign or please contact me (pictures work as well). There is a lot of casual water out there too, so in the case you are in casual water, you are allowed to play either from your lie (have fun with that), or directly behind it from a dry position, any distance behind the lie (in line with the basket and your disc). Any area that has OB should have flags as the OB line. If there are no flags, but your disc is surrounded by water and the tee sign says it is an OB area, you are OB. Please play the drop zones on holes that have them if you are to go OB.
Next week, I will start selling raffle tickets for the big end of year prize raffle. Prices are 1 for $5/5 for $20/10 for $35. We will have discs, bags, apparel, gift cards, and more, with the top prize being a Chainstar Lite! 50/50 raffle tickets will be available as well for the same price, with the drawings taking place on the last week of the season. Tickets will be available all season. We will have two separate weeks where we will sell double tickets as well. I will keep everyone posted when those dates will be. All proceeds collected from the raffle and half of the 50/50 will go towards the end of year payouts and help fund the skins match at the end of the year. I also will be running a tourney at a private course in Holly on June 1st to help build some funds as well.
Next Wednesday we will be playing the West course to the A position with holes 2, 11 and 17 from longs. 50/50 will be on hole 4 and the CTP will be on hole 14. Hope to see you out there and sorry for the long post. Have a great week!
