Course looks great right now. 7-11 are only a little spongy but not wet, there are no mosquitoes, and flowers are blooming. All the OG baskets are there but lots of brush cut back. This is optimum Wil ... show more ›
B- Jeff Doran May 2023 Lots of short, technical shots. Place always seems flooded or at best, very muddy. I have to return here occasionally because of league play, but I never look forward to it.
B- Sean Rhoades Sep 2022
Played in mid July 2022, and as advertised, bug spray was required. The course plays like a shaggy beast, with clean centers and brutal edges. The longest holes have the worst rough, and the shorter ... show more ›

Nice flat course to play in the fall with the colors. Wooded and technical with a noticeable and positive difference between the shorts and longs. The course has wide enough fairways from the shorts b ... show more ›

I love this course. To me it's one of the best places in metro Detroit to really get better at disc golf, never crowded (because it's so tough). Really tests your release timing with brutal rough an ... show more ›

A Timm Koppen Sep 2017 Trimmed out many areas of the course opening up the fairways on a lot of what at the start of the season were tight calculated shots.
B Jamie Szydlowski Jun 2017 Over grown, poison ivy on every hole. They try to charge $3, but th ecourse has gotten much worse this year. A lot of mud, but a great layout. If you wear long pants and sleeves, cover yourself head to toe in bug spray and have an accurate throw, this is a great course.
A- Jeffrey Grzywinski Jul 2018 Some extremely technical shots from pro and am pads. Good course to bust out your midrange and putter shot game.
B Steve Simison Feb 2017 Course is pretty tight on a lot of holes, it will definitely test your accuracy off the tee or your ability to scramble for par.
B- Skyler Stoker Dec 2016
First play through not all that impressed. Course is decently maintained as far as trash and grass length but the rough could use some work. Very thin lines through the woods with jail being found jus ... show more ›

A- Phill Diloné Aug 2016 Hell of a course! I love that you have to use every shot in the bag! Rollers, thumbers and all!

A- Michael Ball Aug 2016 VERY CHALLENGING! A truly tough course that will test you shot making ability.
B+ Bart Kowalewski Mar 2016 Wet and Muddy in some spots
A- Stephen Farkas Oct 2017 very technical and fun course! Longs will eat you alive and shorts still have its challenges being wooded
B jamie damico Sep 2015 Only a Fall Course
A- Ken M. Jul 2015 A tight course with a wide variety of holes. From the back tees very challenging. Mostly closed with a couple of open holes. Rewards accuracy and technical play. When the mosquitoes are out it's impossible to play, but the course is well designed. Best played when the weather has been dry.
A Dan Sinkey May 2015 Willow seems to get a bad rap Based on one factor , the Misquitos are trained decisive preditors . Other than that it's awsome
B- Carl Coffee Sep 2022 Never crowded. Best signage around. Park keeps it clean and the druggies don't take over like at Cass-Benton. My favorite course in the world.
B+ Joe McConnaughhay Sep 2014 Really tight course. I hit many trees off the tee boxes. The course was well maintained.
B John Perry Sep 2014 it is a nice course to play in the winter or fall before the devil spawned bugs come to life. nothing special or notable, nice trash cans nice mainenance and unlike all the other metropark courses no P2P!!!
B+ Chris Nadeau Aug 2014
Super narrow fairways. Very tough course for beginners and a challenge for even the best of pros. You have to keep it on the fairway to score here as it is heavily wooded. Course was in great shape. ... show more ›

If you can handle the cold weather, the course is much better to play in December. Wet spots are dried, so no mosquitoes. Leaves have fallen, so finding a disc in the rough is easier. And if you wa ... show more ›
B Nick Schuette Jun 2013 Good course layout, but MAN is it difficult! The fairway is really narrow and there's poison ivy all over the place. Really easy to lose a disc in too. A good course, but not for beginners.
A- Don Slater May 2013 Nice course! A bit soupy in the wooded area in early spring or after heavy rain, but nothing that can't be managed. Of course, the skeeters are horrific. Bring a lot of repellant.

C- DETROIT Duchon Apr 2013 Last time I player here the bugs ate me alive ! Go in fall - early spring . Fairways are over-grown in. Tight fairways with low ceilings mostly. If you go off the fairway you'll most likely be in thorns and sticker bushes. Layout is good & has balance but, just overgrown.
A- Gary Frader Mar 2013 Great fun course. Nice tight fairways make you work for a good score. Good amount of shots in the woods. Usually kept up very good dont see too much trash. It can get very muddy come the spring months which kinda sucks. It also is very flat. Overall one of my favorites.

B- Jacob Marcek May 2012 Pros: Great layout, nice variety, well marked, nice tee boxes
Cons: Next to the highway, $5 to park, mosquitoes that could carry a poodle.

Loved this course, would make it my home course if i didn't live 1.5 hours away. Locals were great. Need a bath in DEET before going back though.
B Danny Mittlestat May 2012 great course. sometimes a litle wet but oh well play on...
A+ ScottT Funk Jan 2012 This is where I learned how to sidearm a putter. Nice challenging course
B- Daniel Ragland Jan 2012 I liked this course, but after a while, the holes seemed repetitive...like I threw the same drive over and over. Plus, it was really loud at times, right by the interstate.
A Mike Stratford Nov 2012 Long tees need to be swept , some covered in leaves an dirt, some with wood chips.
B+ Nick Vanderkolk Sep 2011 Excellent when mosquitoes are gone. Shit when mosquitoes are home.

B Jason McDonald May 2022 Wow. Tree tree tree!
B+ - br33zy - Feb 2011 Would be an A if you could play year round comfortably.
B- Jeremy Hatcher Jan 2011 The course is well laid out and the tee zones are maintained.Good for a quiet game, though the overgrowth right around the fairways is terrible. I have lost two discs to this course, because of that very reason. Other than that, though, it's not a bad course.
A Matt Schwartz Nov 2010 STAY IN THE FAIRWAY
A+ Chadd Scruggs Mar 2011 very well labeled course with maps and score cards, which was nice... this is my home course and i am pretty happy with it... hole 15 was pretty long cant imagine it from long tees
