Hey, I had an emergency this morning but I overcame it. Please ignore any withdrawal requests I sent. See you all tomorrow.

Slight change of plan for tomorrow. When you come in the the clubhouse, you will fill out a sky high waiver at the register and get a wristband. Let them know you are playing the mountain meltdown. We are be doing check in inside the lodge. We will be set up at the tables near the fire place. Check in, get your meal ticket and pack bag, then move down to the next tables to choose your 2 discs (1 star and 1 champion per player). After that, please exit out the back door to the patio since we need ... more

Sky High's FB has been spamming that they're open Friday - Sundays but no mention of the tourney. Are the other 9 holes going to stay open for walk-ups or are there going to be some disappointed players on Sat?

Joshua Cheney   May 21, 2021 at 5:46pm

The 9 holes we aren't using are open for walk on play. Manager is on it with us.

Paul Hanson   May 21, 2021 at 7:21pm

Awesome - great job guys!

Joshua Cheney    May 21, 2021 at 1:43am

Hope everyone is checking the weather. It is looking like a great day for disc golf. Temps are mid 40s to low 50s with wind sitting around 10 mph.

Can we fill out form on Friday if we are there?

Joshua Cheney   May 20, 2021 at 10:46pm

Which form? For the Sky High waiver, I don;t know if you can do them early for Saturday. Have to check with the staff. For the covid waiver, only saturday as you check in. It's just a signature and date.

Joshua Cheney    May 20, 2021 at 12:28pm

I resent the course notes to everyone that I had an email on file for. The course will be available for practice tomorrow. They open at 11, but the tournament layout won't be set up until around 1 pm or so. Practice rounds are not included in the tournament entry. It is $15 for a round and you need to check in at the lodge for a wristband. The first 9 holes will be set in the round 1 positions.

Will we be able to practice the course on friday??

Joshua Cheney   May 19, 2021 at 11:45pm

Yes! The course will be open their normal hours on Friday. David and I will have the basket positions, drop zones, and mandatories in place by 1 pm on Friday. Practice rounds are not included with the tournament entry. Every player will need to check in at the clubhouse before they start any practice rounds.

I emailed them all out. I thought the doc would connect but it wasn't working. The email has the pdf version.

Nathan Weaver   May 19, 2021 at 10:43pm

Is there a way to get those course notes re-emailed?

Joshua Cheney   May 19, 2021 at 11:46pm

I got your email Nathan. I will send them to you when I get home tonight.

Joshua Cheney    May 18, 2021 at 10:55pm

Today is the last day to withdraw from the registered list or the waitlist and receive a full refund. After tonight, any withdrawals must be made by contacting me.

Caddy’s are welcome but will need to sign a waiver to be on the course.

Are spectators allowed?

Joshua Cheney   May 18, 2021 at 10:54pm

We haven't received an answer yet if the course will allow spectators to follow along with cards. As much as we enjoy having people come to watch us all play, we have to keep in mind how compact some of the fairways and tee areas can get at the Sky High course and think about everyone safety while out there. We will update you as we hear more.

David Yancey   May 19, 2021 at 1:05pm

Yes, Spectators are allowed if they sign the waver and abide by the courtesy rules of the PDGA.

Joshua Cheney    May 17, 2021 at 6:14pm

Reminder that tomorrow is the last day to withdraw thru the dgscene page. After tomorrow any player looking to withdraw will need to contact me directly. Same goes with any registrations as registration will be closed after tomorrow.

Are we allowed a caddy? Or a spectator?

Joshua Cheney   May 17, 2021 at 5:44am

Details to come soon. We are in discussion with the course manager about what is allowed.

Tommy Holverson    May 11, 2021 at 8:24pm

Joshua are you gonna open up anymore spots for this tournament or is 72 the max?

Joshua Cheney   May 11, 2021 at 10:31pm

72 is the max.

Chuck Powell    May 11, 2021 at 7:02pm

Do you send a email for those people on the waiting list if their spot comes available

Joshua Cheney   May 11, 2021 at 7:25pm

If a player drops, then the next person on the waitlist is automatically promoted to the event. The system should send an email to the address on file letting the player know that they are off the waitlist and are now active in the tournament.

Joshua Cheney    May 4, 2021 at 11:35pm

Just a heads up for all players, the last day to withdraw from the event for a full refund is Tuesday, May 18. After that it will be on a contact basis since we would have already paid for all of the tournament packs and entries. Any questions please send them my way and thank you for understanding.

Good morning everyone! Hope everyone had a good weekend. With registration day past us, David has been working on submitting refunds to those who were charged full price for the wait-list. Thank you all for your patience on that.

With the wait-list, we have already had one player who had to drop out, so we bumped the next person on the waitlist to a spot for the event. If you are promoted from the wait-list to the event, you should receive a notification in your email. We are going to allow ... more
