Slight change of plan for tomorrow. When you come in the the clubhouse, you will fill out a sky high waiver at the register and get a wristband. Let them know you are playing the mountain meltdown. We are be doing check in inside the lodge. We will be set up at the tables near the fire place. Check in, get your meal ticket and pack bag, then move down to the next tables to choose your 2 discs (1 star and 1 champion per player). After that, please exit out the back door to the patio since we need to keep the area inside uncrowded. Players meeting will be held out in front of the lodge at 8 am.

I have several players on the waitlist ask me about the possibility of getting in. At this point, I don't know. If someone does not show up for the event and there is a free spot on a card, then I will go off of who is here. If there are multiple players from the waitlist that are here hoping to play, then I go in order of who is first. Hope that makes sense.

Check in starts at 7 am. Every player will need fill out a sky high waiver inside first. The proceed out the back door to the patio where you will check in with the tournament staff, sign the covid waiver, and pick up your player pack. Please exit the patio by the stairs next to teebox 10 as soon as you get your stuff. There will be signs for you to follow. I will have the scoreboard up with each players starting hole. It is also the PDGA event page.

Quick players meeting at 8. Then off to your starting holes. at 8:28 I will give the 2 minute warning (2 horn blasts). At 830, a singular long blast will indicate the start. Round 1 is holes 1-18. Follow the tee signs.

Once round 1 is complete, submit your scorecard and go get lunch (save your meal ticket!). Lunch is scheduled from 1130 to 1:00.

Round 2 is scheduled to start at 1:30 pm. I will use the same starting method. We will be player normal course holes 1-9 and 19-27.

Once the last card is in, we will do trophies and ctp winners on the patio. There is a ctp hole each round (see course notes) with one flag for the ladies and one for the men.

The paper score card is the official card for the event. We do have pdga live score active (see course ntoes for code) so players can see where they are at. The paper and live score should match. Again, the paper card is the one that will be submitted to tournament staff. If there is an incorrect score on the paper card, the score will be corrected and a 2-stroke penalty will be added to the correct score.

They open at 11, but the tournament layout won't be set up until around 1 pm or so. Practice rounds are not included in the tournament entry. It is $15 for a round and you need to check in at the lodge for a wristband. The first 9 holes will be set in the round 1 positions.

Good morning everyone! Hope everyone had a good weekend. With registration day past us, David has been working on submitting refunds to those who were charged full price for the wait-list. Thank you all for your patience on that.

With the wait-list, we have already had one player who had to drop out, so we bumped the next person on the waitlist to a spot for the event. If you are promoted from the wait-list to the event, you should receive a notification in your email. We are going to allow players that are promoted 24 hours to complete their registration. If a promoted player does not complete their registration with the 24 hours and we do not hear from you, we will assume that you decided not to play and we will promote the next person on the waitlist. There are a lot of people who want to play and we can't hold spots until the last minute. I hope everyone understands this and is willing to work with it. If you have any questions about registration or promotion from the wait-list, please contact us. We are here to help make this an enjoyable tournament experience.

I didn’t get in. Didn’t make the waiting list. These things happen. Tournaments fill up in 1-3 minutes lately. They’re filling up so fast spots sell out faster than the website can process a transaction. Sometimes you even get charged full price but by the time the system realizes the field is full it’s too late. You do get all of your money back minus 4$ which... is A) not the fault of the TD it’s how this website works and stays operational. B) normal, honest and in no way unscrupulous or non transparent. There is a learning curve to joining tournaments post covid. C) does not give you the right to make baseless claims about the TD or the community at large being dishonest or unscrupulous. TDs invest a large amount of their personal time to set up these events and they aren’t getting rich on your 4$ service fee.
