MJ18/MJ15 players do not need to check in for round 2. If you can not play round 2, you need to let me know. Round 2 is only for MJ18/MJ15 players.
Players Meeting
Please be near hole 1 (see schedule) for your players meeting at the scheduled time. We will go over the layout, and go over any questions that people have.
Shotgun Start
During the Players Meeting, hole assignments and the official start time will be posted. Once the players meeting is complete, please get to your hole and set up PDGA scoring.
PDGA Scoring
PDGA scoring will be used as our official scoring method. All players on each card (or their parents) will need to log in to
http://www.pdga.com/score or the PDGA app to run the digital scorecard. The access code is “kpleagues”.
You do not need to wait until you are at the tee to set up scoring. Please do so in the morning before leaving the house if possible. Ask at check in if you need any help setting up PDGA scoring.
PDGA scoring will help prevent any scoring mistakes and will alert you if there is a discrepancy between scorecards. Reminder, there are penalty strokes issued if your score is mis-reported, and PDGA scoring can flag/prevent these errors.
Please do not submit your scorecard until your entire card is positive all scores have been entered correctly.
Caddys / Spectators
Caddys and spectators are allowed, but I want to remind everyone that they must follow all PDGA rules. Everyone should also review and understand what qualifies as “Player Misconduct”
https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/303
Spectators may follow scores at
https://www.pdga.com/live/event/86744/leaders?round=1
Layouts / Caddy Books
Please use the table at the top of this message to find your Caddy Book
Magenta layout plays from whiskers to Mach/Silver baskets. Hole 8 plays from the White Concrete Tee.
All water hazards at this event play as a Relief Area (no penalty stroke)
If a disc lands completely surrounded by water or is lost in wet area, mark at last point disc flew over dry land or the previous lie/tee. No penalty stroke.
If a disc lands over the fence into the baseball field, please mark where the disc was last in bounds, with a 1 stroke penalty. (North Valley)
PDGA 806.04 Relief Area information here:
https://www.pdga.com/rules/official-rules-disc-golf/80604
Disagreements / Provisional Throws
If there is a disagreement on your card related to the correct lie to play, or any other rules, and I am not available for clarification, please play a provisional shot and we can resolve the disagreement after the round. Do not submit the PDGA digital scorecard until you have spoken with me and determined the correct outcome. Please see “Provisional Throw”

Ties For 1st Place
If any divisions have a tie in 1st place, there will be a playoff immediately after the event. Please be sure to not leave if you are tied for first place.
MJ15/MJ18 playoff will follow the completion of the second round if players are tied for first place.
Playoff will take place at North Valley. Playoff starts on hole 1 and is sudden death. Playoff will be on the same layout as the division just played. The playoff sequence is 1,18,1,18,...
Awards
There will be an awards ceremony following the event for each pool. Awards will take place at North Valley after the event (all divisions). Special thanks to our sponsors for making awards and players packs for this free event a reality!
