Hello My Beauties!

We have been working HARD getting ready for all of you.
Here are some bullet points as you plan your trip in the AM!

1601 Somers Rd
Lyons, MI 48851

+DO NOT use the directions on Disc Golf Scene. They are innacurate. They will take you an hour out of the way to the wrong place. Lyons is located between Ionia and Portland

+Registration is from 7:45am until 8:45am

+Do not park in the driveway. All along Dean's side of the road there is plenty of space for parking. DO NOT park on the opposite side of the road. There is a very dangerous ditch there.

+There is a portable restroom on site! Whoo Hoo!

+Bruce's Bad Ass BBQ will be selling lunch for $5. Includes a bag of chips.

+We will have water for free and Coke/some fruit drink things... each for $1

+Make sure you bring cash for the AMAZING raffle items. Too many to count right now, but they will be displayed on a table for your viewing pleasure.

+If you see a volunteer (there are many) make sure to give them a fist bump for all their help.

+Remember non-playing children and pets are not allowed.

I played the course this weekend and it not only incredibly beautiful, it is absolutely awesome. It will exceed all of your expectations. It has an actual island hole, a cedar tunnel hole, a spectacular hillside hole, water holes, wildlife and soon to be flowers. Many say the best they have ever seen or played......

Rules for Buck Creek practice rounds:

-Course is available most days from 10am-4pm. Unless prearranged with the course owner for other times.
-There are to be no pets or small non-playing children allowed.
-Please be mindful of the creek, the water is high now, but is expected to greatly recede and increase in clarity. You are welcome to retrieve discs from the water.
-Please reach out to Stormie for phone number to the course and reach out to Dean with advance notice for your arrival.

We are back and we have some very exciting news!
Our goal has always been to bring you an opportunity to compete at a a prestigious course, filled with beauty and challenge.
We have spoken with Dean Barker and Chain-Out Disc Golf Club and I believe we will be able to keep this goal again this year.
We will be hosting our Beauties Battle at the private course, Buck Creek in Lyons, MI.
I had the wonderful opportunity to sit down with Dean yesterday to discuss our dreams and goals. We find ourselves aligned in passion and drive for women's disc golf.
Practice times and days are open. Those who wish to practice ahead of time, need only to contact Dean directly and provide him ample heads-up. (Please note, there will be a few holes with temporary short tees that will be used for most Amature divisions. These have not been marked yet with flags. I will have them out no less than two weeks prior to the start of this event.)

It breaks our hearts to have to share this but, due to unfortunate and extenuating circumstances; this event will no longer be at BlueGill. Rest assured this is only a setback and not defeat. We are Beauties and we will Battle to make sure you receive the event you all deserve!
We are already in the works of securing another BEAUTIFUL and technical private course that not many have played before. Please, please allow us a few days to get things in order before announcing. We will post another update ASAP including the course location and set practice times/days.
We are completely devoted to ensuring you Beauties all have the opportunity to battle it out and an experience beyond any other.

Thank you for allowing us time to get things in order. I promise we will not disappoint!
