This was my 2nd tournament, and first multi-day event. I took up the game about a year ago, and have been grinding away preparing for this event for the last three months.

It met all my expectations and then some.

2 rounds on a beautiful 18 hole layout, 2 discs, 2 beer, the opportunity to play & watch & learn from better players who throw shots and lines and discs that are unfamiliar to me, all for $60 - this is great value.

While I was waiting to tee off on the final round, listening to the chatter about the course and the set-up, it was mentioned that the baskets for the Wetlands course were delayed, and someone had to drive to Everett, WA to pick them up so they were there on time for the Friday morning practice round. I didn't catch the name of the fellow that did that, but whoever you are, cheers. It needs to be said - without that kind of dedication, events like this don't get put on and our community doesn't grow.

Craig, Malcolm, Ryan, John (and I'm sure there are many other nameless individuals who contributed to the event) - thank you for your time & effort putting this together.

Hi TDs, thank you for all of your hard work for making this weekend happen. The course changes overnight rattled and frustrated me more than the long tee times / uneven tee boxes / other issues, but everyone was in the same boat and I made a bunch of mistakes on top of that. I had no idea where we were playing Sunday, but I know you were doing your best and I appreciate the opportunity to compete. I've never run a tournament, but it doesn't seem like there is any benefit to being a TD other than sharing the love of the game, and I just wanted to show my appreciation.

Also a massive disparity in the amateur player packs - many were 3 yellow discs and a green putter where the others were a variety of more desirable colours.

Will absolutely not sign up again!

One gentleman explained there would be a disc or something akin to that?
I didn't hear any follow up to that; so was wondering how that will happen?
Also, are the division prizes for the Wetlands divisions emailed out?

Can anyone clarify what’s the deal with top half of some divisions apparently NOT playing RK tomorrow? Playing a rated tournament round on that course was a major part of the draw for coming a long way to this tournament, so having that opportunity taken away at the last minute with no communication is disappointing to say the least.

With the number of comments about wasps nests, thought I'd post PDGA rule 803.02.A:

A player may obtain relief from the following obstacles that are on or behind the lie: harmful insects or animals, people, or any item as designated by the Director. To obtain relief, the player may mark a new lie that is on the line of play, farther from the target, at the nearest point that provides relief (unless greater relief is announced by the Director).

Campbell valley. Course plays longer than last year, last year had huge back-ups, and this year we played a 4-1/2 hour round with non stop huge back-ups....why are we trying to push tee times every 8 mins...were there no learnings from last year? This needs to be corrected, standing in stifling heat in a course that runs out of water and only one bathroom (that is unexessible while playing) is extremely frustrating.
Not to mention I watched 3 people roll ankles today on teepads that are bumpy and uneven.
I am speaking for a lot of people today, as this was the main conversation of every group I talked to
