Trevor Gilbertson: Question about the compensation for the division

Question about the compensation for the divisions playing Wetlands both days.
One gentleman explained there would be a disc or something akin to that?
I didn't hear any follow up to that; so was wondering how that will happen?
Also, are the division prizes for the Wetlands divisions emailed out?

I was told today by the TD Craig that there are no gift cards this year and instead there's a disc for top 50% of the division, to be collected after the round. But none of this was communicated in an email as far as I'm aware. I just happened to be walking by that's how I found out about the disc.

I'm a MA70. who chose to switch to MA3 for the chance to play the new course. I was fortunate to play it twice. What a great course. I certainly do not expect any compensation. Playing the Wetlands was worth the price of admission ($60). There is so much potential there for future development. Thanks Craig, John, Stu and Chris for creating the opportunity. Cheers Cooky

Trevor, We are looking into who got missed on compensation for not going over to Raptors. We know we got all the juniors with a disc is they didn't get a prize or higher value prize. We enhanced all the player prizes in FA3 and MA3 by an average of $15 or more. We gave that out to 35 people with was 1 more than the 50% of the 78 MA3 and 8 of 16 FA3 who played on Sunday. I don't think we accounted for ties after day 1 though so we are going back to check to see if we missed anyone. If we did we will make it right. I see you missed by 1 spot so you are probably in that scenario as you shot a 60 on day 1 and with promoting ties as well you would have had the opportunity.

Aaron, Thanks for you comments. We are fully aware of the communications shortfall and for that I apologise. There will be more to come on that soon. I was not the TD last year and had no idea you received gift cards on the last day. I have never done that but have heard of it. Yes, we gave out discs to some divisions and for the most part the value far exceeded the payout distribution. MA40 and MA50 did not get discs. Both those divisions and anyone with a payout higher than the disc value will be sent gift certificates from AceRunners for the balance. Everyone will get their projected payout value or more.

MA3 and FA3 compensation. We have gone back and taken a look at who would have been promoted to Raptors and including ties, we would have promoted for than 50% in MA3. Anyone who scored 71 or lower in FA3 and 60 or lower in MA3. 5 people who didn't receive an enhanced prize will be receiving a $15 gift certificate for Ace Runners in compensation.
