Starting holes have been posted on the PDGA website. Please remember to check in before going to your hole. If you have any questions please ask upon checking in. If possible, please carpool tomorrow and if you are starting on holes 8-10 please drive down and park in the lower lot off of Central College after you check-in.

Also, please remember to bring your non-perishable food donations for the Mid-Ohio Food Bank.

We have a little more information regarding tomorrow's event and wanted to reach back out to everyone.

Tournament central will be set up in the pavilion near the letter hole I. Please check in upon arrival and let us know that you are present. Please make sure you check in by 10:00 AM.

Please practice social distancing when possible, especially near tournament central when checking in and after the event during payouts. Please do not gather in large groups in the park. While playing if there are back-ups on the hole in front of you, please remain near the previous basket until the backup clears. 

Both the Columbus Dispatch and 10tv News will be present at the event tomorrow, as they both will be running stories on the Ice Bowl event. Please be aware, respectful, and follow the guidelines above, we really want to shed a good light on the sport and this could be a great opportunity to do so. 

Please remember to bring your non-perishable food donations. We will have prizes including Meta Tilts, Cloubreaker 3s, and prizes from Six Sided Discs for the folks that bring the most food. Last year we were able to donate a substantial amount of food and we would love to do the same this year. 

Lastly, I apologize in advance, I did forget that the park removes their port-o-johns during the winter months, and did not have one delivered. Again, I apologize for this error and hope that with it only being one round there won't be too many problems. This will not be a detail I overlook in the future.

Hello, 

Thank you for registering for the 31st Annual Columbus Ice Bowl. The Columbus Flyers are excited to once again be hosting this event to benefit the Mid-Ohio Food Bank. Last year's event raised over $1700.00 and 600 pounds of food, and we hope to exceed those numbers this year and help fight food insecurity throughout central Ohio. Please remember to bring your non-perishable food donations as we will have prizes for the people that make the largest donations. We have prizes for the top three.

First and foremost, parking. Please carpool if possible, this is one of the biggest ways you can help this event run smoothly. Please be considerate of others when parking, do not take up excessive space. DO NOT park in the grass, make sure your tires are on the gravel or pavement when parking. We will need to utilize the parking off of Cental College, those of you starting on 8-10, please head down there and park after checking in. 

OB:

Roads and Parking Lots
Surrounded by asphalt/concrete and beyond.
Hole 2
The concrete drainage ditch is not OB, only the road/walkway along the top of the dam.

Hole 8
Concrete drainage ditch IS OB. Surrounded by concrete. Normal OB rules apply. If you are on the opposite side of the drainage ditch, but in the grass, you are in bounds. The path along hole 9 is OB, normal OB rules apply.

Hole 9
The path along the left side of the fairway, surrounded by gravel and beyond. Creek along the right side of the fairway, surrounded by water and beyond. The road behind the basket, surrounded by concrete and beyond. If you drive crosses inbound at any point normal OB rules apply. If your disc does not cross inbounds proceed to the drop zone. 

The drop zone is on the sidewalk near the end of the bridge between the fence and the wheelchair-accessible ramp.

If you were on the waitlist for this event, please check and see if you were promoted. We moved several people off the waitlist last night and still need payment from many of you. Everyone will have until 11:59 PM on Friday, December 7th to pay and update their registration or reach out to the TD. If we have not heard back by then we will move to the next person on the waitlist.

Thanks so much, we are looking forward to another great year of the Ice Bowl. Please remember we will be awarding prizes to the folks that donate the most food items. We have prizes for the top three so get your canned, boxed, and other non-perishable foods ready.

We will be adjusting the caps on the divisions over the next couple of days, if you are on the waitlist, please make sure to monitor your email. If you are promoted from the waitlist you will get an email with a link to update and pay your registration, it will be the email you used to register.

We will give everyone 48 hours to respond to the email either by using the link to update and pay your registration or by reaching out to the TD. If we do not receive a response within 48 hours we may move on to the next person on the waitlist.

The divisional caps that are currently set are the number of available spots for early registration and will double before open registration begins.
