Final Round Tee Times are Posted and a new email just went out. Please read...

Tee times for the Final round tomorrow are Posted. We bumped back the starting tee times at the Fort a half hour to give the county enough time to clear out the downed tree on hole 14. So if you are FA1, FPO and MP40 and have already checked your tee times, please look again. You can find tee times posted here... https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/75629
The fun thing about trying new holes is finding new lines on said holes. This is the case with the new hole 1 position at the fort. While there were some great shots with the new inside over the top line, there were also safety issues that came with this. Some of the shots taken on this line ended up landing right by hole 4's tee pad while players were there. Because of this, there will be a mando on a tree in front of Hole 1's tee pad, off to the left, to force the shot to go up the intended fairway. 
After each division is completed, if there is a tie for 1st place, we will need to have a playoff to determine the winner. If players are off of the intended holes listed in the caddy book, we will use those for the Playoff. If those holes are still being used we will start the playoff on hole 1 of the perspective courses. 
OPEN PLAYERS who finish in the cash, please come see me after the event, and I will immediately write you a check for your winnings. Please don't leave without this because sending the cash via paypal has fees. 
The last change to buy more raffle tickets is tomorrow morning. Heather and David will be pulling the raffle tomorrow at Noon.

I hope this message finds you well. I am participating in the upcoming tournament and am writing to kindly request a later tee time on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I understand that MA4 players generally start the earliest, but if possible, I would greatly appreciate starting later within the division. I work late nights and a later start would help me perform my best.

An Email just went out...

You still have a chance to get an extra disc in your player pack. If you can make it up to Infinite Discs HQ in Logan before the end of the day on Wednesday, they will get you an extra disc as you pick up your player pack! 
Player packs will be available for pick up at the Fort after 10am on Thursday. This means that if you have an earlier tee time, you can pick it up after your round. The logistics of transporting 200+ baskets in a player pack are tricky so I apologize for not being able to have them immediately. 
The Caddy book is a live document on google docs. This means while unlikely, changes can be made. One change is Hole 1 at the fort no longer has a stream on the right side to mark ob. We will now defer to the string line on the east side of the new fairway which has been there all along. Hole 4's fairway is looking promising as long as we can drag it and flatten it out a bit. Hole 5 is still a muddy wet mess in the first part of the fairway, so we will stick with the Red tees for all divisions on that one.

An email just went out...

FIRST OFF, I need to give a HUGE shout out to ALL of the volunteers and tournament staff that have been out prepping the courses the past few weeks. There have been 100's of man hours put in to get these courses ready. We have an amazing community here and are almost ready to show off what we have done! We will continue to be out working this next week marking OB lines and putting on finishing touches to the courses. 
We are just about there! The raging Weber river has taken its toll, but we have adapted and made some changes. At the Fort, Holes 1, 4 and 5 will most likely have some changes...Hole 1, the water is right up to the normal basket position. Because of this, we have made a change and turned this hole into a technical Par 4 that turns left once across the stream (before the river) and plays down 1's original fairway to what is now Red #2 basket. I absolutely love the change to this hole and I hope you enjoy it. Hole 4, the county came in last week with heavy equipment and shored up the bank of the river and also filled in the fairway of hole 4. They also created a sort of ditch to let the water flow through rather than collect. Because of this, the fairway is EXTREMELY MUDDY. Having checked it each of the last few days, it is drying out some. We are hopeful that we will be able to drag it early next week and it will be playable. In the event that it is too muddy and not playable, we will move ALL divisions to play the Red tee pad on that hole. It is absolutely playable from there, but like I said, we are hopeful that we will be able to use the entirety of that hole. Hole 5 is another story. The first half of Hole 5's fairway is full of standing, nasty water. Even if it were to somehow go away by next week, the mud would be awful. Because of this we are planning on everyone playing the hole as a par 3 from the Red tee. This is still a challenging par 3 from this tee. I understand that this isn't ideal, but we were able to make hole 1 a par 4 and add some length to the course in that way to hopefully make up for it a little. The entirety of the Caddy book can be found HERE

For anyone that is Able, we will have groups of people Tonight, Tomorrow and Friday afternoons out at the Miles Goodyear Holes working to Knock down some weeds with weed eaters. We would love all the help we can get. The River has made it hard to get in there and the weeds have gotten Jurassic Park like in places! I wanted to reach out to everyone to let you all know that the Beehive Layouts are uploaded and available to View in Uisc. You should also be able to play the courses, but with the Fort being closed for the last couple of weeks for other events, the county and our team are still working on mowing and keeping the place in tip top shape.

I was hoping to release a final Caddy book soon because I thought we were in the clear with the river situation, but last night the water level jumped up enough to jump the bank a little at the Fort. We are going to monitor that situation and keep you all updated. We are still hopeful that we will be able to play the layouts we plan on playing

The North Fort Course will have Tee hole signs posted for the Beehive positions. OB and other things will be marked next week. As always, let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

Here are a few items of note to keep everyone updated...
Estimated Tee Times have been adjusted slightly. This is due to an oversight on my part. FPO, FA1 and MP50 are the ones most affected. Their final rounds are now at the beginning of the day rather than later. This is due to the layouts being played by the groups that were going to be ahead of them. I have attached the updated tee times and updated the image on DGS.Early Player Pack Pick Up is still available at Infinite Discs HQ. As you can imagine, transporting 200+ player pack baskets to the Fort for day of pick up will be tricky, so anyone who is able to pick up early, you will be rewarded with an extra X-out disc from Infinite Discs. Refunds We are past the point of full refunds. You will  only receive a full refund if your spot is taken by someone on the waiting list. If you already picked up your player pack and then request a refund, you will not get on seeing how the player pack is valued WAY over the price you pay for the event. If you need a refund at this point and your spot is not taken by someone on the waitlist, you will receive a 25% monetary refund as per PDGA guidelines. As always, all refunds are subject to a $10 processing fee and wait list fees are not refundable. Schedule I have attached an image of an overview of the schedule. Please not a few things of interest...Saturday, June 8th is the 3 disc Sponsor Special at the North Fort Course. You can register for that HEREMonday, June 10th is the Pre Bee C at Schneiter's Bluff Front Course. You can register for that HERE Tuesday, June 11th is the GREATEST GLOW ROUND OF DISC GOLF that you have ever played! The Bluff goes all out with their Glow events with a TON of lights, and fun! Find more Info HERE Wednesday I will be doing a YouTube Live Players meeting at 9pm. Tune in with any questions you might have. A link for that will go out later.Thursday-Saturday are the Tournament rounds. If you haven't picked up your player pack prior to your first round, please show up early to do so. More detailed instructions for this will be sent out later. Course Maintenance I will be out at the North Fort mowing and trimming my heart out this Saturday. If anyone is available to help please come on out! There is a lot to knock down. If you can't come on Saturday, you can help out anytime. Please focus your attention on the North holes of the North Fort Course, as well as the Miles Goodyear holes. Thanks!Caddy Books will come out some time next week. We have a good idea on who is playing what layouts at the Fort, but the North Fort might still have some tweaks in it. I will keep you updated as much as possible. Special Raffle - A lot of you might know David and Heather Turner who are on our tournament staff. They are holding a large Raffle with all the proceeds going towards helping them raise money to go toward IVF expenses. These people are some of the greatest people I know and could really use help for this. Please consider coming with some extra cash for the Raffle, knowing it will go towards such a great cause. They will also have Maple Bars for sale at the Fort for sale with those proceeds going towards the same thing. As always, let me know if you have any other questions!

You can come snag your player pack on Monday and also get a FREE X-OUT disc for picking up your player pack early!

The Infinite Discs Beehive Classic is almost here! We are blown away with registration this year and are super grateful that you have chosen to come play this event. We will work very hard to ensure that it is one of the best events you have experienced. This will be the largest (most players) event ever held in the state of Utah!

I wanted to get this initial email out with information regarding the event. PLEASE READ THROUGH ALL OF THIS so that you can be informed. If you have further questions, do not hesitate to reach out.
• COURSE CONDITIONS/CADDY BOOK – As many of you know, Fort Buenaventura is located on a flood plane of the Weber River. This means that every spring brings a chance of flooding, which we are currently experiencing. The good news is that it isn’t anything near what we experienced last year, and I am extremely confident that we will be able to have the entirety of both courses at our disposal. With that being said, we are going to wait until we know for sure on what layouts will be available to us, after the runoff before we put out the official caddy book. We will utilize 3-4 different layouts at Fort Buenaventura for different divisions. All MPO/FPO will play the same layout at the Fort for all 3 rounds. All other players will play 1 round at the Fort, and two rounds at a Modified/Juiced up layout that will encompass holes from the North Fort as well as the Miles Goodyear holes below. As soon as we feel 100% comfortable about the river conditions, we will put out those layouts in Udisc as well as by email. Also, the Fort is closed for multiple events for the next few weeks. Please follow the Fort Buenaventura Facebook page or Distracted Facebook page for the most updated availability to play the course. It will be opened back for the week of the event.
• CAMPING AT THE FORT – Many of you have expressed interest with camping on site at the fort. We initially were planning on handling that with our tournament staff, but that has quickly become too big of a task for us to manage. If you would like to reserve a spot at the Fort to Camp, please reach out to Tonya at Weber County at (801)-399-8228. She also has a lot on her plate with events that are happening at the fort in the next few weeks but will do her best to get you booked. There are also several national forest campgrounds within an hour’s drive as well as lots of hotels close by.
• WAIT-LIST/REFUNDS – The last day to receive a full refund with out the spot being taken by someone on the wait list is May 29th. After that, if you drop from the event, you will only receive a full refund if someone from the waitlist takes that spot. All refunds will be subject to a $10 processing fee. Please check the Disc Golf Scene website for full refund policy.
• SPONSORSHIP – We have been blessed with some incredible sponsorship from a lot of different avenues. There are still sponsorship opportunities available if you are interested. There are a few holes left on the Fort for sponsorship for $100 as well as $50 for North Fort Holes. Also, if you want to advertise in our Filmed round coverage, The Disc Golf Guy Terry Miller will have his team out filming and we have advertising opportunities available for that. Contact me if you are interested.
• PLAYER PACK PICK UP – There will be a couple of Opportunities to pick up player packs early at Infinite Discs. Starting on Memorial Day, (May 27) You can pick up your player pack early from Infinite Discs in Logan UT. They will also be running a tournament that day, so you can play the event and pick up your Beehive Player pack all at the same time! They are also running a Trilogy Challenge on June 1st at Bandits Cove in Hyrum, and you can pick up your player pack at Infinite that day as well. Players packs will also be available before your first round of play for the Beehive.
• TEE TIMES – Tee times won’t be posted until the week of the event. I will not be taking card requests, but if you are carpooling to the event with someone in your same division, accommodations can be made to get your tee times somewhat close for that day. You may email me with those requests early in the week of the tournament. Anything before that will most likely fall through the cracks. I am also attaching an approximate tee time estimate of when each division might tee off. This should help some scheduling. Keep in mind that this is subject to change, but I am hoping that it stays close to what it is now.
• SCHUEDULE – Here are some important Dates and activities for the Beehive Week
o Sunday, May 26 – Infinite Discs Challenge (Sponsor Special) at Roots DGC in Salt Lake City. Register HERE
o Monday, May 26 – Early Player Pack Pickup available at Infinite Discs in Logan UT. There is also a Tournament in Logan this day details TBD
o Saturday, June 1 – Cache Valley Trilogy Challenge at Bandits Cove in Hyrum UT. Register HERE Player packs are also available for pickup this day at Infinite Discs in Loga
o Saturday June 8 – Sponsor Special playing the Beehive North Fort Layout in Ogden UT. Register HERE
o Monday June 10 – Beehive Classic Pre Bee C at Schneiters Bluff GC in West Point UT. Register HERE
