The Infinite Discs Beehive Classic is almost here! We are blown away with registration this year and are super grateful that you have chosen to come play this event. We will work very hard to ensure that it is one of the best events you have experienced. This will be the largest (most players) event ever held in the state of Utah!
I wanted to get this initial email out with information regarding the event. PLEASE READ THROUGH ALL OF THIS so that you can be informed. If you have further questions, do not hesitate to reach out.
• COURSE CONDITIONS/CADDY BOOK – As many of you know, Fort Buenaventura is located on a flood plane of the Weber River. This means that every spring brings a chance of flooding, which we are currently experiencing. The good news is that it isn’t anything near what we experienced last year, and I am extremely confident that we will be able to have the entirety of both courses at our disposal. With that being said, we are going to wait until we know for sure on what layouts will be available to us, after the runoff before we put out the official caddy book. We will utilize 3-4 different layouts at Fort Buenaventura for different divisions. All MPO/FPO will play the same layout at the Fort for all 3 rounds. All other players will play 1 round at the Fort, and two rounds at a Modified/Juiced up layout that will encompass holes from the North Fort as well as the Miles Goodyear holes below. As soon as we feel 100% comfortable about the river conditions, we will put out those layouts in Udisc as well as by email. Also, the Fort is closed for multiple events for the next few weeks. Please follow the Fort Buenaventura Facebook page or Distracted Facebook page for the most updated availability to play the course. It will be opened back for the week of the event.
• CAMPING AT THE FORT – Many of you have expressed interest with camping on site at the fort. We initially were planning on handling that with our tournament staff, but that has quickly become too big of a task for us to manage. If you would like to reserve a spot at the Fort to Camp, please reach out to Tonya at Weber County at (801)-399-8228. She also has a lot on her plate with events that are happening at the fort in the next few weeks but will do her best to get you booked. There are also several national forest campgrounds within an hour’s drive as well as lots of hotels close by.
• WAIT-LIST/REFUNDS – The last day to receive a full refund with out the spot being taken by someone on the wait list is May 29th. After that, if you drop from the event, you will only receive a full refund if someone from the waitlist takes that spot. All refunds will be subject to a $10 processing fee. Please check the Disc Golf Scene website for full refund policy.
• SPONSORSHIP – We have been blessed with some incredible sponsorship from a lot of different avenues. There are still sponsorship opportunities available if you are interested. There are a few holes left on the Fort for sponsorship for $100 as well as $50 for North Fort Holes. Also, if you want to advertise in our Filmed round coverage, The Disc Golf Guy Terry Miller will have his team out filming and we have advertising opportunities available for that. Contact me if you are interested.
• PLAYER PACK PICK UP – There will be a couple of Opportunities to pick up player packs early at Infinite Discs. Starting on Memorial Day, (May 27) You can pick up your player pack early from Infinite Discs in Logan UT. They will also be running a tournament that day, so you can play the event and pick up your Beehive Player pack all at the same time! They are also running a Trilogy Challenge on June 1st at Bandits Cove in Hyrum, and you can pick up your player pack at Infinite that day as well. Players packs will also be available before your first round of play for the Beehive.
• TEE TIMES – Tee times won’t be posted until the week of the event. I will not be taking card requests, but if you are carpooling to the event with someone in your same division, accommodations can be made to get your tee times somewhat close for that day. You may email me with those requests early in the week of the tournament. Anything before that will most likely fall through the cracks. I am also attaching an approximate tee time estimate of when each division might tee off. This should help some scheduling. Keep in mind that this is subject to change, but I am hoping that it stays close to what it is now.

o Monday, May 26 – Early Player Pack Pickup available at Infinite Discs in Logan UT. There is also a Tournament in Logan this day details TBD
o Saturday, June 1 – Cache Valley Trilogy Challenge at Bandits Cove in Hyrum UT. Register HERE Player packs are also available for pickup this day at Infinite Discs in Loga
o Saturday June 8 – Sponsor Special playing the Beehive North Fort Layout in Ogden UT. Register HERE
o Monday June 10 – Beehive Classic Pre Bee C at Schneiters Bluff GC in West Point UT. Register HERE
o Tuesday June 11 – Beehive Classic Glow Tournament/Event at Schneiters Bluff GC in West Point UT. Registration page coming soon.

Probably not this year. With the baskets being in the player pack, hauling those around from place to place isn't easy. You can pick up your player pack early at Infinite Discs starting on memorial Day.
