Hey guys! Final playoff for the berth this Tuesday between Adam M (MA1) and Darryl B (MA4)! After averaging out both of their total season scores (disregarding the 1st 2 rounds where Adam did not play) I came up with Adam at a 53.57 and Darryl at a 58.07. Rounding to the nearest integer gives a 4 stroke difference, which will be the handicap to level the field. If after 18 holes there is a tie then it will go into sudden death. The 2 players and myself will be starting on hole 3 to try to avoid any potential backups. Winner will be awarded immediately after the round. If you are 1st or 2nd in your division stick around, I have something for you as well.
This will end our 18 week point season, next session running from Aug 6 to Oct 1. We will not be doing the point system, but instead both leagues will be individually running payouts each week. It will still be $10 all in if you participate in the payouts, money being divided in this fashion: $5 to play ($4 going to payout, $1 to League/teepad fund) $3 to 50/50 CTP and $2 to Ace Pool.). Payouts will be divided 75/25 if 9 or less players participating, 60/30/10 if 10 or more. If you decide to opt out of payouts it will be $6 all in.
After Oct 1 we will still be having league play, just not sanctioned. This will open it up to doing things like random doubles and such.
