Gonna give feedback on what I thought about each hole 1-18, again its my opinion do not take it personal this is what I see from any outside disc golfer as well as from AM3/4 player.
1) The hole is great, you have options for forehand and hyzer lines but the basket just needs a pole we did not know where it was until we saw the orange flag kind of in line.
2) Perfect as it was with the mando keeping you away from throwing over any cars.
3) I like the straighter look at the basket, the long tee pad looks to be too close to those pine trees and give no place for any kind of run up.
4) Good as it always was gives forehand or backhand line.
5) I like the short pad, gives a better look for players without having a fear of the water and the road in the way.
6) The short pad is too plain its just a dead straight right in front of you shot, I wouldn't mind that being an elevated basket as well. Also the tee box is way to close to the bush line if it was moved to the right a little bit to keep branches out of your face and reach back.
7) Most miserable hole I have played since those two short wooded holes, you are forced through a nasty muddy center which even if you make it through the mando having to putt from inside that is a mess. I think if you want this mando it has to be a tad bit wider and higher, I watched alot of low lines get picked up and over the poles even on good shots. From an am 3/4 side this probably is not something a lot will get through.
8) The long pad looked way to close to that landscaping with no room for a run up, and the short pad is too slanted forward I wouldnt mind it being anywhere as long as it were on flatter ground.
9) Perfectly fine as always, a nice hyzer or forehand plays to both players.
10) Same challenging mando as always, I love the hole very straight forward that plays to both back hands and forehands.
11) I am mixed on the movement of the pin, its a nice straight shot that has challenging trees but I favor the old pin over the new pin.
12) I miss the old pin placement over that long tunnel shot, the old placement was challenging from both a short and long tee pad placement and I don't feel this needed to be changed.
13) Perfectly fine with this hole from both tee pads, not sure about the left side all being OB and not the right side? I would rather it be a tunnel or over the trees kinda shot or just scramble from any trouble you put yourself in.
14) The short tee pad we played from was way to short, it gave no room for any kind of run up if it could be moved forward or some of the brush behind be cleared it would make it much better.
15) Short and long were both good as always, its a long hole that is very reachable from either pad depending on division so I am glad to see the short pad back for Am3/4 division.
16) I love the island hole shot, its short but still makes it a challenge this is my favorite edition.
17) The elevated basket made it a little bit more of a challenge, I love this change for sure.
18) The am pad was in the worst spot, almost all 3 of us almost got hurt trying to tee off from a sloped down tee box that was not really facing the pin itself. If this was concrete and flat I would say the positioning was fine but as a temporary and running the risk of it being muddy and slippery somebody could really get hurt.
Overall I would rate the course at a C+, there is room for improvements on some holes for sure and this course has always been amazing but I feel its still trying to find its identity and its hard with being forced to change holes, lose land and move things but we all appreciate the hard work that is put in to making the course great and fighting with all these changes that are out of our hands.
