The final details have yet to be etched out but will go something like this. No cost to players, likely mandatory of a minimum of 4 different player matches during the year. 50 and over only. Trophy for number 1 tag at end of year. Likely year end party at the pines in st. charles consisting of random draw best shot doubles with trophies to winners. This includes one round of play, cookout (likely steak) with sig. others, then a second round of play. Both rounds will include the rather infamous worst shot doubles from alt. teelpad hole 17 (formerly 16). The purpose is for old guys and (come on gals) to challenge and play one another. This causes for playing folks you normally don't see and play often to often meet and play at courses you normally don't play often. Also 2fer's and 3fer's etc. count at tournaments and singles leagues where all play from the same teepad etc. Kinda makes for an et

I probably should have mentioned that you challenge and play others for bag tags at any course you agree to meet at, with as many alztimers as want to show up. This is an on your honor system, ie please don't sit on the number 1 tag and not play others. This worked perfectly before. All players had fun and showed superb sportsmanship including but certainly not least, our winner Curt Mcgill, who could not have been more upstanding with the number 1 tag at the end of the year.

Good News! Craig Prime has agreed to climb aboard. Unlike me, Craig is experienced at all things disc golf and he will be making Alztimers disc golf much better than I ever could. We will be getting together and ironing out the details in the near future and I will be handing off the #$%^# computer stuff to him.

Glad your in Fred! You should have some fun with this.Soon, everything will be done here on the scene through, clubs- alztimers disc golf. It's still on there from before. I am terrible with computers so Craig Prime is taking over all that stuff. I'm pretty sure he will need your email address that you use for the scene to link you into the club. You can pm it to him. You can pm me your address for me to get the tag to you after they are made soon. The alztimers club will post your scores after matches, you will exchange bag tags according to scores, report them to craig prime or enter them directly- ( I cant remember which, ccraig can answer that) and the site will automatically list your new tag nnumber with the match that you won or lost. You can see at anytime on there who has what tag # etc. It's pretty cool! Craig has some great ideas to fine tune this and it will be done soon and posted there on clubs- alztimers disc golf

I would enjoy this - (not that I'd ever have a tag anyone wants), but I don't see how I could fairly do it. I played 25+ tournies last year & 1 league round & 1 casual round. If someone challenged me on a tourney wkend, I would have to decline unless the were also in the tourney. I am not able to play most wkdays. I don't mind traveling 2-4-6-10-20-etc hours for a tourney, but wouldn't justify it for league or casual "Bag Tag" round. Also, some involved don't play tournies, so I may never see/meet them. So I don't know if it would be fair for me to join. With that said, if u old farts are still ok with me joining, I would love to. I would do my best to accommodate when possible.

We are thinking of making the challenges mandatory at all tournaments and singles leagues where players play from the same teepads to the same baskets. Even if playing in different divisions. This would make it possible for two challenges at one event. IE two pro's playing from longs in one challenge and a ma50 and a ma60 and a am3 alztimers playing from the shorts in another division. Exchange tags according to the scores and one volunteer to enter them in here on the scene after. The Grayling club makes this a mandatory for their tags and have a ball with it. Two competitions at one event! We will be deciding soon. But it really is fun to get 2,3 4 or more together at a centrally located course and have a motrin go.

And Mr. Levell you are certainly welcome. I only work 3 days a week and would be happy to meet you on your occasional weekday or any other time. We are thinking of a mandatory minimum but if we choose to do so, you could cover that at a tournament. Final details are coming soon. This is a casual easy going thing so we don't want to make to many rules.

Glad to hear it Kevin. You should have a bunch of fun. Things are coming together nicely and details will be forthcoming, but we are having a non mandatory kickoff of disc golf for the best tags on April 21 at the pines in St. Charles. Make a great warm up to the WPD open. Just sayin!
