Hopefully yesterday was the coldest day that we will see this season at Shore Acres. At least it was sunny with not a whole lot of wind...it could have been worse.
The scores seemed to have reflected the colder temps as the Hot Round for the night was a 53 which was shot by Craig "ace" Pluger and Travis Prueter. Apparently you needed a P and a U in your last name to have shot well. Most impressive on the night was Dirk Kuipers', fresh off a birthday, adjusted score of 44 (54). Nice work gentlemen!
A couple of reminders:
- We will be playing the black pins for preseason weeks #2 and #3 with a return to yellow in preseason #4.
- Don't be naughty like Elvis Hadzalic who added his score wrong or else it will cost you come the regular season.
- Points will start being awarded 5/3.
- No cash for preseason aces and no awards for preseason achievements.
