Well everyone, it all comes down to Monday night. This year was a huge learning curve for us.
1) We were forced into looking for a new venue.
2) After a long search, we decided on 5 Star Lanes in Troy, Michigan
3) We learned the place is not Sunnybrook, however, the ownership at 5 Star was / is committed to moving around things that have been in their bar for years to make us more comfortable.
4) We have averaged 51 players a week, we can max out at 60.
5) We saw some of the biggest Double Tap jackpots get hit while experiencing two times where people were called back-to-back after missing their 1st 2 putts and making the 3rd and 4th. Two ways to look at it: luck of the draw vs being awarded for failure with a 2nd chance and capitalizing on it. Either way, I call foul!
6) Nick Cooke, Chris Leo, Rob Dahmen, Brandon Dub, Samantha Gilbert, Ryan Herzog and Michael Cook: once again, we all cannot thank you enough for what you do for our putting league.
7) The staff behind the bar and in the kitchen are amazing. Donna, Charlotte continue to bring us great beers including some of our favorites from Michigan.
8) On our last week, Monday, March 28, 2016, 5 Star will be giving us FREE PIZZA after 9:30 pm and $1 off Michigan Beers and shots.
