Well everyone, it all comes down to Monday night. This year was a huge learning curve for us.
1) We were forced into looking for a new venue.
2) After a long search, we decided on 5 Star Lanes in Troy, Michigan
3) We learned the place is not Sunnybrook, however, the ownership at 5 Star was / is committed to moving around things that have been in their bar for years to make us more comfortable.
4) We have averaged 51 players a week, we can max out at 60.
5) We saw some of the biggest Double Tap jackpots get hit while experiencing two times where people were called back-to-back after missing their 1st 2 putts and making the 3rd and 4th. Two ways to look at it: luck of the draw vs being awarded for failure with a 2nd chance and capitalizing on it. Either way, I call foul!
6) Nick Cooke, Chris Leo, Rob Dahmen, Brandon Dub, Samantha Gilbert, Ryan Herzog and Michael Cook: once again, we all cannot thank you enough for what you do for our putting league.
7) The staff behind the bar and in the kitchen are amazing. Donna, Charlotte continue to bring us great beers including some of our favorites from Michigan.
8) On our last week, Monday, March 28, 2016, 5 Star will be giving us FREE PIZZA after 9:30 pm and $1 off Michigan Beers and shots.

Thank you everyone for playing all winter and I hope all of your shots this summer are straight down the fairways. Motor City Chain Gang!

Congratulations to Jay Binienda and Samantha Gilbert on their 1st place win. Nice shooting.
When you arrive on Monday the 23rd, be prepared, we added 2 fluorescent lights in the room closest to the bar. I posted pics of them, they do brighten up the room considerably. See you Monday!

Doug Granby splattered a cool 2 putts in a row for the Double Tap pot taking the big 2 week carry-over haul. Nice job Doug!
Ron Armstrong and Wayne Jodway won 1st place over Brian Fahnestock and Kevin Kudla. Great job to both of the teams!

Playing catch up here from the 1st week.
We had 58 players the 1st week which was crazy and like the refresh our brains had to go through to get the computer programs humming, we need to remember as players, that other games are going on around us.
No body hit both putts in Double Tap so the money carried over to next week.
Congratulations to team Randy Noble and Michael McGinnis winning 1st place over team Ryan Herog and Joe Benno. It was a fun to watch battle!

Please stop in at your convenience and visit the south bar. This is where we are planning on hosting the putting league. Check out their beer selection both bottle and on tap. Then go to the kitchen towards the north end. The food selection is very good and the north bar by the kitchen will probably be where people hang out while not playing. T minus less than 3 weeks and counting!
