Well . . . We had our best round in league shot tonight . . . by Dave Olson who shot 41 (-13) which is 3 better than his previous best. Congratulations on the hot round Dave!
We also only have one week left in this season. Trophies will be awarded next week and I ask that everyone heads over to Sussex Bowl afterwards for the trophy Ceremony. I am going to try to get there again next week but do not know for sure if I can make that happen.
Normally at the end of a league season I will do a 50/50 split of the ace pool and contribute one half to the course improvement funds, but because Sussex requires the $25 per week . . . I feel that is payment enough for maintenance on this course. Because of this I have decided that if the ace pool is not hit next week that I am going to just roll it over into the next 10 week session which will begin on June 24th. Hopefully that will draw some more people out and we can get back to the 20-25 person average I think this course should draw.
Keep in mind with next session we will not be playing July 8th because the park will be closed so this league session will run until September 2nd.
