^What Jay said. You don't want to wear a glove while you throw. What you want to do is purchase a pair of high quality mittens, preferably from REI (warranty is awesome). Snowboard mittens, anything by Burton is solid. Buy cheap stuff, don't be shocked when it falls apart. Buy high quality stuff it lasts longer and they are much warmer. Expect to pay at least 50 bucks. You want a mitten for numerous reasons. One, they are easier to slip on and off. Two, mittens are way warmer because your fingers are all together inside so they share body heat. Three and most importantly you can insert hard warmer inside the mitten. Burton snowboard mitten + hand warmer will keep your fingers warm in any condition, I've used that combo at 12,000 feet in Colorado winter and worked like a charm.
