#3,4 The Shasta Series is a non'sanctioned' series in that there is not as many divisions offered as you might expect in a PDGA sanctioned event. In the Am division there is am Adv divison and Am division for both women and men. Our Am is close to PDGA Rec/Intermediate. You and your wife should reg for those divisions, come play have fun, and maybe be in the same group the first round, 2nd is played in division(she could play in men's but you can't reg as a woman!?)

#5 The max for this event is 100 players. We will know with pre registration roughly how many spots will be open by Jan2nd. Non tag holders have to wait until 8:30 (day of event) to register and you must be there early to get on the waiting list. I would keep an eye on pre registration #s and decide if you want to come and play. Not sure where you're located? Hope that helps, follow up if necessary.

I am in Rocklin. I have played Lava Creek before and love that course. I would like to get into this tournament, but as I am reading, I can't pre-register? It sounds as though if you don't have a tag from the previous year, you won't get in. If the same people have the tags year after year, how is anyone new suppose to get in?
