FYI... I do have 2014 CCR Summer Tags...$15. If you want to get yours so you can get your discounted Burchfield annual, text or message me and we can arrange a meet. This is the last year we will be getting the $20 deal. I do plan to negotiate a deal for the future, but no promises on what the outcome may be.
When Summer League starts, we will also begin tracking points based on tag performance... it's a new system that will make tags relevant when it comes down to the finals. Basically, the only way for you to be crowned Club champ is to play tag challenges throughout the summer. It's a neat system that we used for the Winter Tag league. It will be tweaked a bit from how it was run during the Winter months... but it will be fair and, more importantly, FUN!!!
Tuesday doubles will begin Tuesday April 8th. Sun will be setting at 830, so we are going to meet at grand woods with a 530 tee time. As things stay lighter longer, we will switch to our normal 6pm tee. Please show up early to check in and pay. $5 per night a player and that includes ace pool, merch payout. Singles league will begin April 23 at grand woods. If we are flooded out at Grand Woods, we will meet at Burchfield. I will be there by 5pm to start signing players up. Please show up early so I don't have to sign up 50 players at the same time... that's confusing.

Matt i vote getting points for defending your tag or if you get a higher tag you get points foot it off you get lower tag from a higher tag you lose points so the points are always would make it Very competitive and not only during league rounds that you Get points we should Getty more points for the more challenges we do!!!!

Where can I see how the points are calculated? How do you keep track of challenges when not at leagues?
Players are able to post there matches on the tag page once I create it and I will monitor that daily.
Post any input here. As Kenny did. Tags at league will not be required, but with the new system, it will be one way to accumulate points so it may get more tags on the board.

So if someone has the same tag all year cause they don't challenge or put it up on Wednesday, they will come in
As a high seed and prob play someone they'll struggle to beat.

I just deleted that confusing post. I will be meeting with my executive team next week to hash things out. So all input posted here will be taken into account.
I like itu2026as long as it is elimination during the finals :D Cinderella stories are invited too? or do you have to have so many points to play in the finals?
XMatt Rinker just now You don't need points all the points do is give you a seed going into the finals. And we WILL play matchplay. With the seeding format, it makes more sense to give the number 1 seed a bye during first round (rather than it just being who has the one tag). To simplify things for me, we will not start tracking points til the first week of singles.
If you have no points, we will come up with something for those with no points who just show up. It may be that they have to play into the finals by playing 9 holes in so many stokes or less. Just ideas. They will all be worked out by April 11
so the 8 tag challanges i have done aren't goning to mean anything at all rounds won't start until first week of singles just saying why can i go back and put those rounbds i have played to get those points or or am i SOL jw
You are sol. I want to give everyone a fair chance at obtaining points and 75% of members buy their tags first day of singles. Next year we may start it once I get the tags, but as for this year, we are doing a starting point of 4/23 to be fair to all golfers.
Consider like last year, bragging rights.
