Man - out of 529 players only 8 "Like" the MiCPS-Summer or is that how many have Facebook accounts? I know we are a grass roots organization. I guess I need to make longer posts to increase the value ;-)
Oh if you want to get a quick glimpse of what you missed at the Royal Oaks Thursday Doubles HLW last Thursday check out a few pictures and some aerial video with the disc CAM - Let me know if you can figure out how I keep the camera from spinning and keep it in the air for so long ;-)

$5.00 player fee each session
$5.00 ace pool - Ace Pool total is $139 as of June 4
$1 optional CTP
Random dubs. $1 from each Ace Pool entry will go into the playoff pot at the end of the season. Top 8 players on the leaderboard at the end of the season will play off. Ace pool pays out 50%
Points:
15 pts...Ace
10 pts...Completing a round in 48 strokes or less (-24)
5 pts...Dot (basket or higher, no bottom pole)
5 pts...1st place round score
3 pts...2nd place round score
2 pts...3rd place round score
1 pt... Showing up
1 pt... CTP

About this League
Doubles league - 48 all-time players - 36 active players
$5.00 player fee each session
$1.00 ace pool
18 holes of CTPs 2nd round only.
Cooking out on 6/22 after 2nd round $3, each, smoked bacon burgers and our very own kielbasa
Side dishes welcomed (Potato salad, chips, etc.)
$10 all-in (optional) will include $4 towards 4 or more CTP holes.
We meet at hole #1 and play Short Tees only, with occasional extra holes.
Check-in will follow the completion of the 1pm round.
It will be a random draw for partners.
Ace's will get 1/2 of the Ace pool, if more then 1 ace is hit in the same day, you will have to split 1/2 of the pool.
Our payouts our unlike any other doubles leagues, we pay out 50% of the field in most cases, and have special cash CTP prizes as incentives for amateur players.
To keep this a fun league, we will not tolerate bad attitudes or bad sportsmanship, if you demonstrate either one of these in this league you will be told not to come back. We are all here to have fun and want everyone to enjoy the game.

This is a travel league. It includes a 1 time fee of $25 which includes entry into Black and White Season 3 Random Doubles and Singles leagues. Points are earned using a skins format. CTPs are determined before the round for disc prizes. Top finishers at the end of the year receive prizes (# of payouts TBD based on # of players)

FREE ace pool (included in the $5)
The Sanford Lake Park has an entry fee that can be covered by purchasing an annual pass for $50.00 or by paying the daily entrance fee at the gate $6.00 or $7.00, I think.
Again this year, payout will be 100%
In addition, we have a weekly CTP buy in for $1.00. We rotate holes 1, 14 & 15, the week we're FEATURED the CTP hole is number 15. Buying into the $1.00 CTP also allows competitors a chance to win other donated prizes if any team gets hole 5, 12 or 18 in 2 strokes. And finally, we have a doubles tournament planned for Sunday, June 30. get the details here

Draw Doubles every Saturday, no matter the weather. Payback consists of $5 from each entry. The additional dollar goes toward ongoing maintenance of the Deerfield and Wildwood Disc Golf Courses with Deerfield Nature Park.
Park gate fee $6 per car, so it pays to carpool.
