woodmansee issues
as a representative for CHAIN GANG DG I would like to let everyone know tht we are doing eveything we can to keep woodmansee park in good standing with the city. All major issues have been approached and we are doing what we can do to impose course rules and etiquette to the other park patrons. Every course has its issues, unfortunately we as a club have had our good name slandered when we do everything we can to promote dg and perform course maintenence on the course we consider home. Some other dg course user even had the audacity to write profanity against our club on the signage from the city. I at least appreciate them showing the city it isnt our club causing the problems but tht isnt going to help the underlying issues at hand. I personally am going to speak w a city member this next week about our clubs involvement in the promoting dg and the work we have done to help woodmansee and marion/polk food share. WE WILL NOT BE SLANDERED AND BULLIED OUT OF OUR SPOT IN THIS DG COMMUNITY. CHAIN GANG IS HERE TO STAY!

atta boy. woods has a ton of local discers that only only play there but jave nothing to do with any club. they will steal ypur discs throw garbage around break stuff and throw in on anyone they want (park user or another group of disc golfers) this was the first park i ever golfed and that was about 4 and a half years ago. i do not know a single person who does any of that. i would like to thank all my golfers for always setting an example for course and park ettiquette. dont let the bad ones outshine the good ones. and ive always thought the middleschool has brought most of the vandalism and other things into the park. but it cant be the children. sorry this is just something that gets under my skin. thank you for taking steps to clear the air. :)

If each of the courses in the area could have such a dedicated group trying to help the cause, how nice that would be.

CHAIN GANG has always welcomed EVERYBODY with open arms and shown support to many other clubs even when some clubs <CCDG>slander CGDG! its always been my intent to have any and all clubs come together as a community! as one who loves to travel out of state for tournys i see the dedication other communitys have to there local CLUBS and yet salem still acts devided. i believe much of the problem is those in charge of CCDG ,the board, the prez, have the wrong outlook on OUR community and and therefore need to step down and let new people run that club in a new positive and open minded direction.

Ty all . I do wht I can to at least give an alternative option for dgers. Ty also to the other groups who have started leagues in our community. Everyone can promote this sport just by playing. I'm glad I've had a positive impact on a few people haha
