Went out to Cascades to check on the basket (15) that's missing. The lock is still on the collar, so who ever took it must have had a key. Called Salem PD to report the loss and an officer is supposed to get back to me later. Also someone has fashioned a tone pole of sorts in the basket position. Going to be in touch with Beast to get the practice basket from Woods and put it at Cascades for now and get a new pole for the practice basket we have and get it to the practice basket position at Woods.
Please report back on whatever you hear from the SPD
Will do. Don't expect to much though. Not a lot anyone can do about it.
Thank you for stepping up and looking in to this. Seems to be the first mentioned about lock still on coller. Seems this makes it more important then ever to get new lock sets and keep control of keys as mentioned in past and again just recently. Lets get it done as to many keys floating around, and no one knows for sure who has keys.
Just trying to do what I can with the time and energy I have right now. Wish I had more time to deal with this stuff.
stil seems clear to me that basket was left unlocked last time it was moved, i know it was locked after the badace, as i checked all locks after badace!!! so who moved what baskets for frosty or anytime after badace? im just waitin for the so-called prez to communicate so i can turn my keys and other CCDG **** into him!
Thanks Lee. I don't know what happened. Just relaying the info I have. Congrats on 9 @ Taloali, interesting that your 9th ace was on hole 9.
Just talked to Salem PD and the case number is 13-3560. They will call us if they happen to recover it. Currently working on getting the basket replaced.
Has anyone asked that guy that lives in his truck next to hole 17? He might have seen something
I played Cascade and put up the totem so I had something to shoot at. I also talked to Mike (in the truck) and he saw nothing. Someone must have taken it between 1am- 5am was his assumption because he sees everyone in and out of there when he is awake.
Thanks Rick, saves me another trip out there.
and I aced the totem today, no big deal. how do I post that on here?!
Haha Pretty close to the truth, and then you can write to Pete Crist, the site director. I'm sure he will rig it up ;)
Just found a DGA Mach 2 on Criaglist in Portland for $250 that is going to get a new home fast. Just saying it might be worth looking at. Otherwise I might get it for Camp
Ps it is not the yellow band don't worry
keep it for Canyonview!
