The Frozen Fingers on the Fairway Tour comes to an end this Sunday March 13th at our double point PDGA sanctioned event at Sims Park in Euclid. The events at Medina, Hudson, Warren, and Parma have all been a great success. We would like to thank everyone who has helped it get this far along.
Our total amount of money raised so far for the Akron Canton Regional Food Bank is $1478.75. If I could reach you all to pat you on the back I would, you crazy disc golfers will huck Frisbee for anything. Your generosity is not unnoticed.
Our ultimate goal for the series has been $2000.00, and by my calculations we only need 58 players to come out and participate in order to hit that mark. The weather has been wet and unforgiving but we may luck out and get a big freeze to make the conditions a little less sloppy. We hope to see everyone who has participated so far, along with as many new faces as possible. It will be good fun for a good cause.
