Yes I meant specifically about the drive. Caddy book doesn't clarify, just says DZ is optional. Left at that it means you have the option to play the tee shot as normal OB or take it to the DZ. Course notes then says the note you mentioned about having the option to re-tee, which is technically always an option. But to my understanding you can play an OB tee shot normal rules if you wanted to

I can imagine a scenario where you get your drive up onto the landing area but it rolls back ob. The question is can I take it from where I went ob say 3/4 of the way up hill, or is it only DZ or retee?
