20 players showed up to MBD for our round last Wednesday even with the possibility of storms. We decided to play the Winter Loop layout (1, 2, 3, 10L/S, 11L/S, 12L/S, 13, 14L/S, 18 x2) to keep everyone close to the parking lot incase storms did come. Good thing we did that since after 9 holes of play, the thunder & lightning storm came through. Sprow blew the air horn & brought everyone back to their cars until the storm passed about 20 minutes later. We resumed play & finished the second 1/2 of our round without any further storm interruption. Even with the storm delay, Sprow/Wolodkin were able to shoot an impressive -17 score, taking solo first cash! Nice work guys! Second cash went to Common/Thelen with a -16 & last cash was taken by Brayton/Weilacher, shooting -15.
Congratulations to Jen Trombley for nailing an ace on Hole 10 from the short pad!! She added $126 to her pocket & 30 points to her league standing.

We’ll continue our stay at Mary Beth Doyle for our upcoming round on June 26th. Rain is predicted in the earlier part of Wednesday & will hopefully be cleared before league time. We hope everyone had a great weekend & we’ll look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday!
