I appreciate and share your concern. We are monitoring a number of meteorological sources in regard to the possibility of severe weather on Friday, and are seeing a mixed bag of potential scenarios. Some are suggesting that the worst weather may hold off until the early afternoon while other sources have suggested that the inclement weather may be scattered and spotty. While we can’t bank on the best outlook, there is some hope to be had in the differing forecasts. As of now, (Noon-ish on Wednesday the 10th), there is no plan to move the tournament to another date. That being said, this situation is being monitored thoroughly, and there is certainly the possibility of an abbreviated tournament should the weather dictate a non-temporary stoppage of play. The registration and refund window will close at 8pm on Wednesday the 10th should you decide not to play based on the forecast. The safety of our competitors is of the utmost importance and we will be outlining our inclement weather strategy in the forthcoming caddie book and during our players’ meeting.
