Pairings will be determined by seating and who shows up to play. If we have an odd number of players we will have a ctp to determine the Cali player.

Nate Clark took advantage of a rainy night with low turnout which enabled him to draw Cali and win night one by one stroke. I would like to clarify some things. Everyone may play in the play-offs. There will be separate pools for the Top 16 and the best of the rest, with final payouts in both pools. There were only 13 of the top 16 players at week one. If you are one of the top 18 players you QUALIFIED for the top 16. If you are one of the three that missed last night you MUST be there next week to play in the finals. Please contact Saui or I if you are NOT going to be there please. Remember the final scoring and standings will be based on your best score from either last night or next Wednesday added to the score of your final round. That means you can miss either last night or next Wednesday but you HAVE to play on the last Wednesday of September to have a shot at winning the title. We are looking for donations for ctp and other prizes for the finals on the 29th. We are also going to try and start the final rounds at 5pm due to issues with light.

Tomorrow marks the start of the playoffs for summer league. These playoffs will last three weeks and will end on the last wednesday of september. We will play random draw doubles the first two weeks and a seated doubles match on the last week. The top 16 players will be eligable for the for the tourny, so if your name is in the top 16 you are in. I'm not sure of the status for ness or sands but I do know that goss and witt will not be able to show so that opens up at least two spots. So that means elston and denny automatically qualify for the finals with the possibility of Keshia or maybe d waters moving up into the top 16. If your in to top 20 it might be a good idea to show up tomorrow. There will also be a buy in round for the players that don't qualify.


Finals Format:
Each player will pick their better score from the first two weeks. If you only make one of the first two weeks, you will have to take that score. That score will be combined with your score of your final round on the last week in september. Therefore, you MUST be present for the final week to qualify for the top prize. If you have any questions show up tommorw and I'll explain in further detail.

Hey all...Scores are up for last week. Lucas and Sines took the top spot by 4 shots and took home $22 each. I forgot to take out money for the end of the year tourny and only took a dollar out for the ace pot.

THIS WEEK'S DOUBLES WILL MEET AT THE SHELTER NEAR HOLE #7 AT 5:30 WITH A TEE OFF TIME OF 6:00. I WILL LEAVE A NOTE ON THE PICNIC TABLE NEAR 1 AS A REMINDER.

Week 8 brought out the most players yet for Wednesday Leverich Summer Doubles at 38. Thank you all for joining us. We had a gorgeous evening and the park was crowded. As it was the week before the BMO we decided to play the BMO layout plus 5 extra holes to make it 18. Kent Smoothers and Jim Goss lit it up with a 13 down and Nate Clark had his second Ace of the season on hole 9 with a skip in forehand with his Boss and cashed in 39$, 1$ of which he rolled back into next weeks pot.

I need someone who has a printer and wants to make up some signs to please help us out. We need to post some signs around Leverich informing the general population that Wednesdays is league night and as such will be crowded. If it also had the start times cost and other info it might bring in more players, which is always a good thing.

Sadly I left my 161 CE eagle sitting on hole 1 and it has not been returned yet. If anyone sees or hears of it please let me know.

Thanks to everyone that came out for week two of Leverich Summer Doubles. And what an interesting evening it was. We had 29 people this week and no aces, which brings our ace pot to an even 60$. Next week we will be starting at 5pm, but by the first of June I am hoping to move our start time later. And for those interested my lost putters were found and returned.
