This was the last week of league for this season. I hope everyone had a good time at the Hollows this year. We look forward to bringing you another great season next Year.
We are always open to your suggestions and hope you all will give us your ideas . This league is for you, the players and we want to bring you the highest quality disc golf that we can. I have brought in Pyrohyzer bag tags at the store to help out the players that like to trade tags in league competition . They sell for $5.00 apiece and you register them on line as part of a national tag league. Pretty cool.
Last night of league was great .There were 51 players and We had some great play on the course. Evan Cote and Jared Beaugeard took it down shooting 46's. Jared also hit an ACE on the notorious hole #18! That is a serious Ace for sure. Congrats go out to Jared. Since we didn't have any cash for the ace pot due to it being the last night of league, Jared hit 1 of the 2 CTP holes for $66.00 and Blaine Faulkner hit the other one for $66.00 not bad guys!
This Sunday we are having the league party andI hope you all can get to attend. Things will start around 2:00PM. We will be cooking burgers and hot dogs . Any other food contributions are always welcome. The more food the better. There will be awards given out for the points series for both the men and the women players. Just before dark we will get ready for the Glow Round to finish things up. I guess it should be starting by 6:30 to 7:00PM. The cost to play is $10 per player with all cash going to payouts. Bring friends if you like to the glow round.

Course clean up!!!! is scheduled for this Saturday about 8:00AM.
If you can help we could use it for sure. This will be our last chance to make our course shine before the Fall Classic as well as making sure it is in top shape for our league and the rest of the players who frequent the course.. Course Pride! See you all there .

This will be the last week of league . Please come as early as possible. I will be at the course at 4:00PM to get things started. Darkness is falling quickly and you need to be prepared. Bring your lights and flashlights if you are starting after 4:00pm as you will be in the dark on your last few holes.
We will be having our end of season get-together on Sunday September 23rd around 2PM. There will be a cookout and awards to be given out. We expect to give out the awards about We will also be holding a glow round starting just at dark. The entry fee for the Glow round is $10.00 each with all money going back to the winners. The Glow Round will be random dubs!
There will be other things to do also ,so get to the park early.

There was an Ace tonight on hole #3 by Adam Antinaro , on his birthday for $360.00. Happy Birthday Ace ,Adam. Tim Dolan took the CTP on hole 1 for $46.00. Not a bad night for cash payouts!

League awards and get together will be held on Sunday September 23rd. Activities should be starting around noon with a cook out and fun stuff happening . There will be a glow round to finish things up around 6:30pm or so. There will be a $10.00 fee to play in the glow round with all cash going back to players in payouts. More announcements to come shortly.

Tim Dolan and anyone else that is free will be doing some clean up work on the south course this Sunday. Try to come down and lend a hand if possible. We want our course to look as good as possible for the Fall Classic and for you to have a better course in general. This is you course and it is time to take some pride in what the city has given us. Mark Rave is coming too. and I will be around to help also.

We are letting cards go out early now to help get the round finished before dark. If you can, bring night lights and flashlights to help with the last hole or 2 . It is getting dark earlier now so be prepared. I am at the course by 4:30 pm for the next 3 weeks.

We had another great night for league. WE are just beating the darkness now. There were 55 players on the course. Billy Crane took it down tonight shooting a 44. Todd Foster won the CTP on #16 for $50.00. There was no Ace tonight thus there is $90.00 in the pot.

September 8th is the Tournament at Birch ark and then on the 9th of September J-Ray from Dynamic Discs will be here for a 2 disc challenge.

The Hollows Fall Classic is coming and we need you to sign up now so we can order your player packs. They will be great with a retail value of $150.00. I want to have enough packs for everyone day of the tournament.

The season is coming to a close faster than we want and I want to thank you all for making our league the biggest and best one around. You players come out in weather that makes the wildlife seek shelter. Your true disc golfers for sure! That brings me to the next announcement..

We will be having a party for the league coming up in the near future. The date is not set yet but I want you to know that along with a cook out and awards we will be adding a Glow Round at the end of the party . Get your night gear ready everyone.!

I went through the cards and the scores are posted. Looks like Lance Krzeminski took it down shooting a 47 with Bryant Chamberlin in 2nd with a 48 and Blaine Faulkner coming in 3rd with a 49.
Marc Fredette won a nice First Run Fuji discby Lat 64. This was donated by the league sponsor: Breakin Chains Disc Golf. Waldo Quinney took the cash CTP on hole 14 for $53.00. Bryan Kilmer got an Ace on hole #11. Bryan won $176.00. Congratulations on your win and also on your first Ace .
There are several tournaments coming up so check out discgolfscene and look for our posts. There is a flex start Friday the 17th at Muldoon
. September 8th there is a tournament at Birch Park that should be pretty cool. and the next day at the Hollows J Ray from Dynamic Discs will be at the Hollows for a 2 Disc Challenge. Lot's of stuff to do for sure.

We had some great scores considering the wet rainy weather. Tammy Coburn shot a 52 taking it down in the women's division . Great job Tammy. Blaine Faulkner took it in the mens with a 46 . Great shooting Blaine.

Lance Krzeminski won the CTP on hole 13 for $37.00. Congrats to Lance. No Ace was hit this week giving us a $76.00 Pot going into next week.

Don't forget we have 2 C-Tiers at the Hollows this Friday. They are flex starts and you can come play anytime during the day between 8AM and 5 PM. You register at the store. Breakin Chains Disc Golf Supplies. The cost is $25.00 . Store will be open for 8:00am.

Don Pinard from parks and Rec has made it clear that no disc golf players are to be in the cemetery . This is serious stuff and we hope you all will follow the cemetery rules and just use the disc golf paths that have been put in for your use.

Matt Stolarz got an Ace on hole 14 winning $104.00. Fred Lusky won the CTP on hole 12 winning $56.00. We also had a 50/50 cash CTP for Winter Team Challenge on hole #2. Adam Hall was the winner of that CTP winning $26.00 .

Kris Wiley won the cash CTP on hole 11 and Jared Beaugeard got an Ace on hole #4 . Ace is back to $000 and will start again next week.

Also don't forget that there are 2 flex starts going on Friday at the Hollows South and North. Come by the store (Breakin Chains Disc Golf) and register and head up to the course and play anytime from 8am to 5pm. Saturday is the LFTD #6.

We will be playing on the South Course next week for league. The layout is short to long .There will be no Random dubs this Saturday due to a Trilogy Challenge and a Senior Games Disc Golf Tournament . They will both be held on the North Course and the South Course will be open for casual play. Don't forget to sign up for the LFDT#6 at the Hollows South . Registration is open for this tournaments.

Cost will be $15.00 for Pros and $10 for Amateurs. The entry fees will be paid back to players at 100%. This is being done in leiu of the Hollows Tag League being cancelled for the 4th. Pay day of.

There was some heavy competition for 1st as you can see on the leader board. Maybe it was getting back on the North course that made them play so well. The cash CTP went to Adam Hall for $56.00 and Jake Kritzon won the CTP donated by Breakin Chains Disc Golf . Breakin Chains gave a very nice Judge autographed by Eric McCabe.

Tonight we had another great turnout for league. There were 66 in attendance. Blaine Faulkner set the course record shooting a 44, with Billy Crane right behind him with a 45. Evan Cote was right there also. , shooting a 48. Blaine also had an Ace on hole 15. Unfortunately he had to split it with Evan Cote who also got an Ace on the same hole. Hole 15.
Jared Beaugeard won the CTP on hole 7 tonight.

Great Wednesday night on the course. We played the South course and it was great. There were 2 Aces . Bryant Chamberlin and Waldo Quinney both got them .Bryant got his on hole 16 and Waldo on hole 15. Ryan Wittenberg got the cash CTP on hole 5 for $58.00 while Bryant and Waldo split the $114.00 Ace pot for the night. Josh Caswell won the other CTP on hole 6 . He won a nice pink Felon Autographed by Eric McCabe. This was a donation from the league sponsor (Breakin Chains Disc Golf Supplies of Manchester). We will play the South course again next week.

Don't forget that there is league in Amherst Thursday night and a Flex Start Friday Tournament on Friday June 1st. Come anytime all day and play a rated round . This is a PDGA Tournament. Sorry about the earlier news reports I was still sleeping I guess and had to correct a few mistake. Whoops!

We had 3 new members sign up also bringing the total members so far to 103 and growing. The bag tags are ready and I should have them at the store by Saturday if anyone wants to drop by and pick theirs up. I will bring them to league Wednesday also.

Nick Horne raked in the $72 CTP by parking hole 3 and Fred Lusky Aced hole 14 to take home the Ace Pot.

Just as a friendly reminder - triple check your scorecards!!! I (Bryant) added up all the scorecards tonight and found at least 1 error on 11 different cards. I fixed the scores tonight without penalty, but for a tournament round you'll get the corrected score plus 2 strokes!!
