League of Champions 2016 - Sundays at Hudsonville's best, worst, and only disc golf course - Hughes Park! We don't take ourselves too seriously and the more snow the merrier.
Random Draw Doubles
$6 dollars each Sunday to play
$1 ace pool (optional)
New or Important for 2016:
2:30pm start time
HLoC Membership - $15 and a new disc (it's ok, it can be one that you don't like). Membership donations will be used for CTPs and end of year prizes, TBD.
HLoC Membership perks - $1 dollar off weekly entry, 100% ace pool payout, weekly CTP, entry into league finals on 3/27, entry into the Perfect Pool, and fame that only being a HLoC member can bring.
Perfect Pool - Approximately $11 of membership dues will be used for the league finals while the other $4 will be used as a bounty. At the end of the year, the bounty will be paid to the team(s) who shot a perfect -18 or 36 shots or better. In the case that more than 1 team goes perfect, it will be split equally among them. If no one hits -18, the next best score will be paid out. Non-members are excluded from this pool. If a member and a non-member team win the pool, the member will be paid out half of the bounty while the non-member's earnings will go into the end of year added cash fund.
Non-members miss out on the end of year finals, member CTP, perfect pool, and can only net 50% of the ace pool.
There will be no league on Super Bowl Sunday - 2/7/16
Hole #2 will be played as a double mando between the telephone pole and the tree directly to the left of the telephone pole when looking from the tee. Teams must re-tee if both players miss the mando with a 1 stroke penalty.
Same as 2015 (mostly):
Hole #17 will be played as a triple mando between the yellow telephone support wire and the telephone pole. Teams must re-tee if both players miss the mando with a 1 stroke penalty.
$5 dollars from each entry fee will go towards that day's payout. The remaining $1 dollar will go towards added cash for the League's last day March 27th.
You must play in at least 7 Sundays prior to March 27th and be a HLoC member to play league finals for added cash.
3rd Sunday of each month is Wacky Sunday (1/17, 2/21, 3/20). Format and rules will be decided/explained prior to that day's action. Rude play is encouraged on these days.
Ace Pool
An ace pool throw-off will commence on 3/27 for any leftover funds.
Anne Hyzers CTP
Good ole Anne will be providing a CTP each week again for 2016!! Bring some $$ if you're looking for some new plastic as they will be there.
