There are 33 D.O.R.C.s bag tags due to be dumped ranging from #12 all the way up to #74. Some of these players have not played in the D.O.R.C.s league in a very long time but have move up slowly due to previous dumps. Once your tag is dumped because it was overdue the clock starts over. Some players this is their second consecutive dump.

Here are the tags due to dump as of this Sunday;

12,13,14,20,24,26,27,28,34,35,36,38,39,40,41,42,43,44,45,46,48,49,50,51,52,55,56,57,59,64,56,66,74.

If you rank on the Bag Tag leaderboard higher than any of these numbers you will surely move up by scoring a new round with the D.O.R.C.s league.

This Sunday's round of singles at Pier park will settle some overdue bag tags and bring some regulars back down to earth. Due to the funky in this weeks "Trifecta of Fun" FUNky format and the nature of Bag Tag dumps when overdue only the singles round will settle bag tags. All are welcome to join in even if it is your first D.O.R.C.s round. Bag Tags will be issued to players upon their 3rd round scored and dumped tag holders get bumped down leaderboard based on DNFs and set accordingly.

After a bit of a hiccup in the tracking and scoring we have restored this league and accurately brought it up to date. A missing score card forced me to delay this for s wile but now we have fixed it. In the process there were some tags dumped based on the participation rule. A bit more tracking in the next few weeks will produce more dump able tags so stay tuned to D.O.R.C.s Bag Tag news about the next big dump. Most likely it will be a SINGLES round and hopefully draw a bunch of you out.

Sunday May 8th at Cascade Gateway I will be doing a HUGE bag tag dump. I recently updated tags over due to play a D.O.R.C.s round and I have a bunch of tags to put back into circulation. If you are holding a big number or if your due to return this is a great week to come out.
Tags 1-10 play every 6 weeks
Tags 11-30 play every 6 months
Tags 31+ play once per year to avoid getting dumped on.
Check your last D.O.R.C.s round scored to see if you are due

Effective imitately all D.O.R.C.s bag tags #1-#60 will be tracked. Tag #1-#10 will be required to score a round every 6 weeks Tag #11-#30 will be required to score a round every 6 months Tag #31- ... show more ›

Effective imitately all D.O.R.C.s bag tags #1-#60 will be tracked.
Tag #1-#10 will be required to score a round every 6 weeks
Tag #11-#30 will be required to score a round every 6 months
Tag #31-#60 will be required to score a round every 12 months

This rule change will help keep low # tags with D.O.R.C.s regulars and force more advanced players to respond to a wider range of challenges

Next weeks D.O.R.C.s round will include a bag tag dump of replaced tags from players that have not played in too many weeks to retain their tag.
NOTE; 2nd generation tags are marked to distinguish from olde tags of the same number. Newer generation tags will trump older tags of the same number.
I will list what tags will be up for grabs next week.

The D.O.R.C.s league bag has been located and I'm updating the leaderboard. Next D.O.R.C.s round at Woodmansee will be a good one to attend for those of you whom are ready to recive your bag tag if it is your third round. I will be ready to hand them out.

I'm tracking Top Ten bag tags and some of you are out several weeks. Please send a PM to dump your tag or just show up next Sunday. You know who you are.

Finally I'm having trouble tracking who has bag tag #8. If you have it please contact me so I may update the leaderboard and keep it accurate.

At least once a year the D.O.R.C.s league travels to distant lands where dreams of disc golf glory come true.



D.O.R.C.s regulars and new-comers alike are welcome to join this ALL-DAY D.O.R.C.s event. This years D.O.R.C.s Field Trip will be on June 1st. We will met at 6:30 am at the Bush Pasture north parking lot on Mission st. for car-pooling, then travel to Horning's Hideout to play ALL three courses with a break for a Pot-Luck lunch between rounds.



I have contacted Horning's Hideout event scheduling office to confirm the D.O.R.C.s league will have access to all three courses. No other events are scheduled on DGS in the area that Sunday yet, but it is a wile out. PLEASE use the DGS "Home" page "schedule a round" option that week to confirm you will attend.



"FUNky Format" for this D.O.R.C.s event has yet to be determined. Last year was a mixed format combining all three scores for the day. A green star awarded to the winner.

Some D.O.R.C.s players holding "Top 10" Bag Tags have returned to defend those tags in time, some have not been able to play D.O.R.C.s and have returned their tag to the league admin for the next dump, and some have just not showed. All and all I'm pleased with the cooperation and would like to thank all the D.O.R.C.s for your continued support.

Next week marks the first week of the NEW 6 week cycle to Call Out D.O.R.C.s "Top Ten" bag tag holders. If you have not scored a "regular scheduled" D.O.R.C.s round since Feb. 2nd and you are a "Top Ten" D.O.R.C.s Bag Tag holder you are in danger of loosing your tag if you do not show up this weekend.

To make the D.O.R.C.s Bag Tag league more official and to track Bag Tags better the D.O.R.C.s league will ONLY count the regular scheduled D.O.R.C.s round as a Bag Tag Dump round. I other words if you play in the "alternate" round of D.O.R.C.s, keep your tag, that way we can track the "Top Ten" better and avoid confusion about who has what tag.

By popular demand I'm changing the 12 week limit of D.O.R.C.s absent "Top Ten" tags to 6 weeks. That means with alternate rounds a D.O.R.C.s player may choose what course and what group they play with on the regular but to defend a "Top Ten" bag tag the D.O.R.C.s regular scheduled round must be played once every 6 weeks.

Please understand these limitations come from observing other Bag Tag leagues and the troubles they have faced. This is the first "LIFETIME" bag tag league I have hosted and I aim to make it last.
