A few updates and clarifications for this event tomorrow;

-The buy in is $20 which includes the CCDG ace pot which is bumped to $200 and all of the CTPs which will all be holes that everyone can reach.

-Players are responsible for the $5 course fee.

-We will be playing all short pads to short baskets.

-It is doubles but in an effort to create a greater equality among pairings, we will create two pools. If you have a pdga rating, and you are 900 and above, you will be in one pool, below 900 in another. If you do not have a rating, we will place you appropriately. We will make adjustments to the ratings cutoff depending on how many are in each pool. We will then draw pairs, one from each pool. Please bring a mini marker for this process.

-We had additional sexy birds donated so in lieu of the normal cash payout, the 1st place team will receive the 2 Nate Sexton signed discs, 2nd place will receive the unsigned discs.

-All proceeds go to help Shawn to offset the costs of repairing his two vehicles.

Reminder, your entry into the 2021 CCDG Bag Tag Finale is YOUR bag tag. You must have an active CCDG Membership to purchase a Bag Tag.

Donate now to the Keizer Rapids Disc Golf Course Basket Fundraiser visit https://donorbox.org/keizer-rapids-disc-golf-course-basket-fund for all the details!

Capital City Disc Golf (a local Salem, Oregon Non-Profit) has put together a project to replace the baskets at Keizer Rapids Disc Golf Park in Keizer, Oregon. The first step of this project is collecting donations from all the from our community both locally and globally to assist us with this project!


Our plan is to purchase 18 Innova DISCatcher® Pro baskets, sleeves, and materials to permanently install the baskets in the ground. Capital City Disc Golf Club and other community members will install the baskets. Existing baskets may be used for another upcoming project with the City of Keizer.


Project Costs
$5850 for 18 Baskets
$600 for 24 Extra Sleeves
$400 for 3400 pounds of concrete
$700 for Freight
$7550 Total

Approximately 4 man hours of work per basket $1800 in estimated volunteer hours.


We have submitted a grant application to the city of Keizer to match our funds and potentially reduce our donation goal. We will post updates as we work through that process.

Hole 13 erosion upgrade.
Bring shovels,gloves, and 5 gallon buckets with good handles..

Running a wheelbarrow up the hill is not an option we need to fire drill buckets so I need at least 7-10 humans!! And as many good buckets as possible!

If you have a truck or trailer that can haul gravel from the parking lot to the hill please PM me!

FYI we are raising all weekly league fees for Capital City Disc Golf leagues by $1. Remember league fees are separate from ace pot buy-ins.

CCDG Member League Fee was $4 and is now $5
Non-CCDG Member League Fee was $5 and is now $6
Ace Pot Buy-in remains an additional $1.

These fees will help offset the additional costs with online payment system fees.

Hello everyone, Segment IV is all finished, And regular SRD will start November 1st the schedule has been updated thank you so much for everyone who came out for segment IV, 79 all time players for this event. Agro Was the champion 5 rounds recorded 4 firsts and a second , Young gun Devin Chadwick 2nd place What a great effort. Bryan Van fleet and Zac Jones to round out 3rd and 4th.

For the time being any Cap City event that requires check-in (currently ONLY Sunday Random Doubles) will now require all those wishing to play in the event to have a mask on during the check-in. We place your health and the health of all other players above our need to run the league and with that, if do not have a mask on for check-in you will need to get one.

Once cards have been set and players are on their way to their holes masks may be removed if you can maintain the required 6 feet of social distancing the state has requested. Masks are optional during play and are not required.

If after the round is over and there is a gathering to discuss scores either maintain 6 feet of distance or put your mask back on.

Thank You for following this new temporary requirement at CCDG events! --- this requirement is NOT up for debate.
