Hey, guys, everyone in this club is invited - and this says a lot about 24 Chains - is invited to be an insider member at BRATS. If you got any questions, ask, but here's the basic economics of how the first shot at it works:

We are going to open up BRATS as a private club starting next June. Most people will join by paying an annual membership fee. Prior to that I am enlisting a bunch of very private club members who will have the broadest access and privileges available at BRATS (no tee times, dawn to dusk, etc.), where we are now moving to 27 holes.

For that group, like a country club, there will be an initial initiation fee of $100 (by December 31, one time) and then an annual greens fee (discounted at $40 in 2016; non-BRATS100 members will be paying $60). What I am calling the BRATS100 Club members will be able to pretty much come and go as they wish and bring up to three guests without prior notification. The initiation fees will let us really spiff the place up with tables, benches, and stuff :)

Only people we like and respect will have BRATS100 access. Let me know what you think. Bottom line is this will cost you $100 by Christmas and then another $40 next year, etc. But every one will have a way to play BRATS at least once in a while, via leagues and as guests :)

Sunday’s game @ Holly Woods 10:00 a.m.

This Sunday we are heading out to Holly Recreational area to play the ponderous course that is HollyWoods. We are also going to start our Winter Points series, the idea is to award first, second and third with points (1st = 3 points, 2nd = 2 points and 3rd = 1 point) the rest of the crowd will have to try again next week to gain their points. That way there is something to shoot for week to week (other than the growing ace pool). This will be a trail run to see if this will continue for the following seasons.
Tee off will be as close to 10:00 am as possible so I look forward to seeing all you scurvy dogs then.

It's a state park and I've got my license plate tab for entry. But if I remember correctly, the back six holes were just D shots through the woods with no discernible lines. However, I have not been there in some time due to distance, and maybe they have been trimmed up. I was tripping and falling everywhere from what I remember.
