About this league
Fee per round $6
We will take the points totals from your best 8 of 12 weeks to determine divisional winners. Points will be earned for each person in your division that you beat.
$1 per person per week will go towards the indiviual parks improvement funds (to be given as a cash donation, or a small landscape improvement project that I can do on my own). $1 per person per week will go to supplies like scorecards, pencils, lighted pens, glow sticks, etc. $1 per person will go towards the season ending divisional prizes. The rest of the $6 will go towards weekly payouts which will be handled as merchandise vouchers. At the present time I will be carrying, minis, glow supplies, an assortment of new and used discs, and will be adding other items in the coming months. There will also be an additional optional Ace Pool for $1 which will carry over from week to week.
There will be 7 divisions of play, Open (970+), Advanced (935-969), Intermediate (900-934), Recreational (Under 900), Unrated (anyone without a PDGA rating can play in this division, and they can also choose to play up into the Intermediate, Advanced or Open divisions), Women (all women will play in their own division, but they can always play in any of the PDGA divisions that their rating qualifies them for). Junior (all juniors will play in their own division, but they can always play in any of the PDGA divisions that their rating qualifies them for). You will start in the division that corresponds to your PDGA player rating, and you will not be forced to move up during this 12 week season even if your rating goes up. You cannot move down to a lower division even if your rating drops. Unrated players that shoot scores eligible for the Intermediate, Advanced, or Open Division will be moved up at my discretion. I want to be fair to all players in the league.
Remember glow disc golf is supposed to be fun, so lets let everyone who attends this league have a chance to win any given week. To help accomplish this, I setup 7 divisions, so everyone in a given division can win any given week.
