I love this course. No matter how you play it, it has something for everyone.

Easy (short to short) - not too hard but not easy enough to be a cake walk for beginners. It's a good introduction course.

Medium (short to long or long to short) both offer their own challenges and definitely not the same course if you play both. They are their own course by themselves.

Hard (long to long) - probably easy for someone who can throw 380+ feet but if you're a vet who wants a challenge but not try too hard or a intermediate level player who wants to test their skill and practice for even harder courses, this is a good place to go for everything.

Only downside is that it is a pretty popular park in Salisbury. So it can be a busy course or a busy place for other civilians. Kids, people fishing, people canoeing, people on dates, people walking, and some people just chilling. Best to be a good people person if you go during a busy time.

I met a local player from the area DGA. He showed me around and gave some pointers on the general play of the course. Super friendly. Will definitely play there again even though I live 3 hours away.

Very good course. The front 9 is a little crowded and short, but the back 9 really opens up for some more variety. There are quite a few small elevation changes with basket placement and plenty of obstacles around the course. Its heavily wooded but mostly clear undergrowth from the pine straw. Hole 3 and 4 have a water hazard to the right side. Only drawbacks of this course are that the holes are a little close together and the park has many other people doing other things walking all around the course. Most holes are somewhat short, but full of trees. Good location right in the middle of Salisbury next to the zoo and civic center, and other things. Hole one is hard to find if you're a first timer. Its near the playground under the big cowboy sign (large head on a stick with a cowboy hat on)

I enjoy this course. It is a great use of a small park, watch out for errant discs since the holes are so close together. The water is used well to guard a few holes and rollouts are common on some of the steep greens. Rounds can be quick if the course is empty, slow if there are lots of people. The prickly underbrush penalized your legs for your bad throws, which makes this short course play tougher than it seems on paper. Stop in for a round...I think you will have a great time.

-Signs are very nice, though they really don't give an accurate representation of all the trees on the back nine
-Good use of Mandos.
-Loved #3. I had never thrown from a dock before and that was great fun despite the goose poop.
Cons: -The course is extremely tight
-#8 should be removed from the course all together for safety reason, throwing over a parking lot to a basket that is in the middle of a play ground. I took the safe route and 2 putted just so I wouldn't hit any toddlers that were playing there
-On the back nine, "fairways" were cluttered with trees and random picnic tables. Not very friendly to beginners or novices
-Holes down by the water were covered in goose poop but there isn't much to do about that.
Other Thoughts: I had a good time on the first 7 holes after that was just frustration with the course design. Remove #8 and move some picnic tabes and knock down a few trees and you would have a great course

A very technical course with fast greens (the gold pins) and a pond coming in to play on multiple holes. Great mix of righty/lefty holes. The multiple tees & pins on every hole allow everyone from the true rec player to the top pro to have an enjoyable round. Well marked with a good flow & the nicest signs (on the long tees) I've seen on a course. The red & gold baskets are clearly visible & the teepads are all flat & level. Even if you play the short course, give the signature hole 3 a try from the long tee on the dock. It's a multi use park and occasionally you might have to either wait for pedestrians or skip a hole and come back. It's very compact so that's not hard to do.
