I give the original 18 hole layout an A+. This course is the course that I grew up playing disc golf at and it’s a Champion style course due to its length & elevation changes & cross elevation shots. It requires skill, determination & a never give up attitude to shoot under par. I have had the pleasure of helping bring this course to concrete tees & I surveyed the course w/ my buddy Dave H. I was able to give the distance to the holes as well as the elevation change to give the golfer a little more information to go off of. Beautiful course, beautiful design, hard course. My niece passed in 2008 at 8 months old. Therefore me & my family donated hole #15’s concrete tee pad & retaining wall that we put in November of 2008. That’s the plaque in the tee to honor my niece in memorial. A year later I aced hole #15 in position D (all the way up next to the rock). I think she had a little help guiding that one in. It was a weekly & we couldn’t hear the Ace down on #15’s tee & the fellow UFOS on hole#16 came down to see if it was someone’s long second shot but it was an Ace by me that I will never forget & hold dear to my heart. LOVE FOR THIS COURSE!!!

The extra holes are fun and challenging too, just be ready for a long day if you’re going to play them all, enjoy ????!!!

A difficult (pay $6 to play) course that will test your stamina, distance and accuracy. Worth it in my opinion. Majority of holes are long and with "open" fairways, although trees and/or elevation change are major factors on most holes. The course has breathtaking views in the Winter and Spring when things are green. Lots of animals out on the course making for fun picture opportunities. The grass can get long making it tough to find your disc, so throw something bright. All types of shots are needed here. The course is best played with a spotter since there are a few blind shots where finding your disc is made more difficult due to the potential of roll-aways and tall grass. A challenging course for experienced players. NOT for new players.

What a spectacular course. The views are incredible. Very hilly course, built on the side of a mountain. A mixture of short and mostly long holes. Hole 1 starts straight up a steep hill. The first 6 holes are on the top side of the course and provide beautiful vistas. The course is mostly open but they use the trees and shrubs strategically well. I didn't like the half a mile walk to the course from the parking lot.

Challenging course with elevation and left to right and right to left shots. Some blind shots with tall grass so be careful. Shot with some locals who said fairways usually get mowed before tournaments and that's it, so grass is tall and thick. Decently windy, plays around a lake, has some legit par 4s and a par 5 playing over 1000' Good to shoot with group, bring water as it is pretty open with some guarded baskets or tees. Follow trail through parking lot and when you see an old basket turn left, go over stream, and tee 1 is up some stairs visible from trail.

After all the hype about how great this course was supposed to be, my brother and I were disappointed. I have to admit that the course is beautiful and we saw a lot of wildlife, (rabbits, lizards, geese, etc.), but the course is exceedingly difficult - mostly because the grass there is way too long. It seemed like we were spending half our time looking for our discs and, most of the time, that was on the fairways. The signage was, also, not as good as I was expecting. Hole 1 showed no distance info, for instance, and most of the signs were set real low so that you had to bend way over to read them or even get on your knees. Hole 5 was very hard to find; (we wandered around for awhile before finding an unmarked tee pad and basket that we played before finding out later that Hole 5 was actually slightly down the hill and through the bushes and trees from there).

I think this course could be quite enjoyable if you had a spotter on every hole who was positioned way out on every hole and could accurately see where the discs land, but the way we did it was often not fun at all.

Playing this course and looking for your discs in the tall grass, trees, and bushes, you will definitely get a good workout. The course is on a hill and it took my brother and I 3.5 hours to play it. It's a good hike ...

One more thing: From the parking lot, there were no signs at all saying where the disc golf course was. There was, basically, a path that led off from the main grassy area and after about 6 minutes we saw a practice basket. From there, we assumed that we were supposed to cross a creek, (we were right), and then we came to a big field of tall grass. Fortunately, off in the distance on the hillside, there is a big sign that says Disc Golf Hole #1. After climbing the steps alternately carved and built into the hillside, our adventure began ...

I lost my favorite disc here, my Beast 10, but because the grass is so long here and there are gullies and bushes and trees everywhere, I was able to find 2 discs to somewhat replace it - an Innova 6 and another lightweight disc with no performance markings on it ...

You MUST play here if you like disc golf. This course is great. It is long, difficult, and in a beautiful location. Traversing a hillside above a lake and parallel to a golf course, it offers some of the best views in the area, with view homes or other man-made distractions.

This was my go-to course in California. I saw deer, pig, Turkey, and geese/ducks here. Playing in the winter or summer can be wet, muddy and cold, or really hot and dry, with ticks, but it is worth it. I enjoy playing most of the holes here. Some are just plain awesome and as often as I played here, it is NEVER as crowded, nor the waits to play, as long as at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. I believe it is hole 6 that you can hike further up behind the official tee-pad to have a longer drive with more elevation. I sit up there, and throw through my entire bag, just watching the discs float and fly for 10+ seconds.

The wind can really affect discs here. So be careful how you throw when windy or you will be sure to lose discs, whether into water, into trees, or down hillsides. There are some thick treacherous trees on my of the holes but luckily there are many long pieces of PVC pipe to try to get discs down.

First hole is about a 75 foot elevation change to start your round... Make sure you have a spotter, some of the pins are blind. Lots of trees and brush, poison oak abounds. Grass can get long at times, in some spots.

Very long course and very challenging, not in technique, but in pure stamina. You spend the first 6 holes walking practically straight uphill and throwing drives up the side of a mountain is kind of a confidence killer. Fortunately you get it all back on #6 with a huge elevated tee box that lets your disc glide FOREVER! I think it took at least 10 min. before my disc came to a rest (exageration of course but you get my point). Hole 9 is over 1000' long and is a killer par 4. They should split it into two holes and just have a 19 hole course. Pay to park is a little pricy and you have to walk quite a distance from the parking lot to #1. They have created a nice little meadow course for tournaments in the hillside right next to the parking lot, but they only use it once in a while from what i've noticed. If you have time it's worth the 20 min. drive off of 101.

Plenty of blind shots and great elevation changes from tee to pin. Cement Tee-pads and the local club does an outstanding job keeping up the course! Down side $10 to play on the weekend and $8 for the weekday you can get a year pass for $75. way way to expensive. The course is on the side of a mountain so if your disc catches a roll well look out! and there is poison oak all over every hole. Other then that a great experience and some of the most beautiful discin' settings I have seen.
