Played 3 days ago. The course is in sad shape. Three tee signs are missing (holes 4, 5, and 6). Baskets are all still in place and labelled though somewhat hard to find, especially without a posted map. Some of the areas are a bit overgrown but are accessible. Construction at the airport has taken out the parking area we used for the course. Anyone have info on who owns this course and if they are up for help maintaining it?

Registration is now open for the 2017 MVP Circuit Challenge at Young's Run DGC. $30 for 3 discs plus additional swag. There will be 2 rounds of play. One from long tees and one from shorts. There will be a break for lunch after 1st round has been completed. Prizes will be awarded per round for each level of play as well as grand prize overall lowest score. Total prizes available tbd based on turnout. The first 25 players who register on or before May 1st will be entered into a bonus CTP with a prize valued over $50. There will be 2 additional CTP, one each round for bonus gear. $5 will get you into both and is available to pay through registration. Registration will soon be closing for the Warren 2016 MVP Circuit (9/25/16). Players pack includes 3 discs and additional swag from MVP Disc Sports for $30 entry. There will be 2 rounds of singles play as well as mini games for additional prizes. Will have men's, women's, and juniors divisions. More players will mean bigger prize pools. With enough registered players the grand prize will include an MVP Black Hole Pro basket. Additional MVP apparel will be available to purchase during registration. Take caution when playing the course. The grass is VERY HIGH on holes 4-5...at least to my knees. Made finding discs a little tricky. Most of the other holes are okay, so hopefully they will get this part cut up very soon. Also, there's a bee's nest near hole 2's basket. It's in the trees a little short of the pin. They weren't aggressive, but still I wouldn't suggest pissing them off.

Friday Night Fight Scrambles at CCA are back starting tomorrow at 6 PM sharp!! Random draw doubles with an 18 hole layout including the 9 standard long tees and 9 new(er) tees mixing up the course and creating more birdie / ace chances. $5 per person, plus at $1 ace fund buy in that will be paid out by CTP at the end of the year if no aces are hit. C'mon out and help get this course some action!! The grass has recently been cut up there and it's actually in great shape. Stop up and join in the fun!!

trimmed some of the foliage on the course today...primarily on holes 1, 2, 4, 6, and 7. it looks a little nicer, but there's still a good bit to do. if only i had a trimmer that i could bring up there i could get some of them tall weeds near some of the pins. i'm gonna keep chipping away at it though. but it's definitely an improvement!!
