Final League Night

Thanks to all who came out this year for Friday Night Fights!! I will be most likely doing this again next year, with the same format, but possibly a new alternate layout.

3 CTPs were up for grabs to payout the ace fund on the last night, with a total of $18 each. Hole 5A and Hole 7A were snagged by Kipper, with yours truly nearly acing hole 8A and taking the final one, but still only by mere inches from Aiden. The remaining portion of the ace fund will be used to repaint the chains, as ... more

2 League Nights Left!!

There is only 2 more league nights left, counting this week!! The last round on 8/29 will be played as 2 rounds of the alternate layout, with CTPs to be paid out if no ace is hit this week or during that round. To qualify for the CTPs, you must have played in at least 2 rounds and paid into the ace fund. This will include the next two weeks!!! CTPs will be on 2 or 3 holes, with some of the funds ($15-20) to go towards repainting the chains, as some are beginning to get rusty. This should st ... more

First night is in the books!!

12 total golfers for the first night!! Nice!! That doubles the best turnout from 2013!! Let's keep this going and see if we can get more people out here!!

Congrats to Kipper and Donny for the win after CTP. Lots of birdies out there on the alternate holes with some legit ace chances. Come check them out!! $12 ace fund will roll over until year end when it will then be paid out by CTP(s) during the league finale if none are hit during the season.

Friday Night Fight Scrambles are back!!!

I've decided to give this league another go, starting back up on 6/12/15 at 6 pm sharp. Doubles format with random draw unless there is enough to create true A / B pools. $5 with $1 ace pool to be paid out at the end of the season through CTP if no aces are hit. Let's give this course some action...it needs it!!

First League Round Completed....sort of lol

Due to a low turnout of 3 total golfers, the first league round was played as a solo round as a way to introduce the new layout. The best score on the original 9 was a +7, followed by a -1 on the alternate layout, and a +6 overall. Quite a difference between the two formats. It was quite windy and that inflated the scores, but as a scramble format, I'm sure the scores will be closer to par, if not under. The alternate layout provides a few decent ace runs for players of most skill levels ... more
