1. Image area 8.5in x 2.75in

2. Please try to make all artwork as close to 300dpi as possible.

3. Keep it clean! No drug or alcohol references.

4. No political or religious statements.

5. Please do not use any disc golf related logos (Innova, Discraft, Prodogy, DD...etc) unless you have permission as dealer or a sponsored player.

The advertisement space is a separate pace on the tee signs below the actual hole sign the people that purchase a hole before the above date will be allowed to have the hole name on the main hole sign. Hey All,

Starting July 26th and running until October 5th there will be a Novice league every Saturday. I would like to get some of the more experienced club members to come out and play with the newbies and help them learn the game. I will be bringing my extra discs so if you know anyone who wants to give it a try but has no discs to do so can.

There will be no fee to play, due to this being a way to get people involved in the sport, however players will be asked to make a free will donation in the box on the first tee every week. We will be doing an ace pool and i will be getting some swag to give away from Nut Sac Disc Golf Bags and the top 3 novice players will get a disc.

I can use all the help I can get with this, so don't be shy! :-) Cant wait to see you all out there to promote this awesome sport! I will have a time set later this week once i see how i can shift my work schedule. Thanks again!

The holes with long issues, 1, 10, (example 11 tee turns white and gets a shorter red tee.) 15 (shorter or longer up on hill near 13 basket, trees added later), (16 is getting a short red where?) 18 really is not set in stone either. Hole 13 has a long painted on pavement, hole two short has a painted tee pad on pavement and tee sign moved, we cleared out two long. Trimmed three long which will be named the "tree top flyer" and marked the area for teeing. Still a massive amount of stuff to do so any help is always appreciated. More work when I can spare the time.

The water will still be in play but for the white tees which they will be marked soon so all can play. We are also gearing up to concrete a few holes which include, 10, 14, 15 and 16. Don't fret we will be able to go back to old school with the course every know and then.

The pdga glow event, some things have changed so here is the skinny.
The price to enter has went way down $18 $2 optional ace fund (no one his the ace it's added to our tee pad fund)

all divisions trophy only except open.

Players packs include event tshirt and personal uv led light. So if you would like to play some sectioned rounds for cheap at the Hanger disc golf course, please let us know your shirt size.

Club tags will be for sale and club shirts should be available as well.

This event is now fully sponsored the Zeppelins disc golf society, just disc golf is presently not capable of supporting this event. The Zeppelins or I will have some stock glow plastic for sale any other clubs want to bring some to sell please do, we prefure no personal selling unless it's benefitting a local course or club. Thanks the Society of discers.

This grand course should encompass all of wingfoot except the wildlife side near hole five. The course will also be temporary permanent meaning we will undo the hanger course baskets and lock them in the big course position for select special events, course should be pro or advanced rated gold and blue tees. Let me know if anyone is interested, it's hard to design something that is beyond your skill level, but not impossible so we ask for help.

Our pdga doubles event on the first of january will be the beginning of our winter fundraiser to benefit the tee pads for spring which we hope to get rolling on. We will have a series of strange events all doubles four in total first sanctioned the next three none sanctioned. First pdga best shot ($ 50 all divisions), second event putter only ($ 25 all divisions), third worst shot($ 25), fourth best score ($ 25). I'd like to see people represent from each area, the best shooting and represented area will take a nice glass trophy home for their respective area. Please try to find a partner to stick with for all the events. Points will be one for each group you beat in your division. area points are one for each group of people that show up from that area, one extra point if your group/area dominates the field. lets see who has the most skilled players. the area TROPHIES will be given out at our spring pdga event which will be a glow tournament. (pdga legal glow discs) where that area will be recognized as badazz disc golfers. Pay outs will be like normal. Need a partner post up.

Our ace find for glow is seventy dollars. If no one hits it before the Haunt at the Hanger then glow ace fund will be available along with whatever the tournament ace fund is that day to current Zeppelin members only as a bonus to our members. If no member hits an ace during that event then it will get split in half with one half going to tee pad fund and the other half being split in two and divided amongst the glow points leaders, A group during cash all others some plastic as a thanks for showing up.

Current members pay half price to renew at the end of the year and you'll get same things a new member would.

Hole one now has a glorious ten foot trapezoid concrete tee pad. This is one of the first at the hanger disc golf course and a proud moment in disc golf. Fully funded by the growing wingfoot zeppelin ... show more ›

Hole one now has a glorious ten foot trapezoid concrete tee pad. This is one of the first at the hanger disc golf course and a proud moment in disc golf. Fully funded by the growing wingfoot zeppelin club. Oh we also installed a bench which came from the ohio state park department, we moved the tee sign and installed our pipe safe for donations, which all go back into the course. We would like to thanks jerry and the other ohio state park members that helped us with water and dug out the area for the pad. I couldn't talk them into helping hand mix the 27 eighty lbs bags of quick concrete we used to make the pad. So it was john stutz, milkshake and myself for the day. It takes about five days for the concrete to cure so it should be ready just before our glow event on the 19th.

Club tags will be for sale at a Discounted price of $ 10 for just a tag.

We are hoping for shirts to be done at this event for the club members who have paid to receive one. Fingers crossed.

The discounted tag money will go to tee pad fund and all tags will be available to play for at the tournament, so what tag you go home with is what you ended the year up with as far as im concerned.

I will keep track of them till december when the new ones will be mailed out.

We had 33 people 5 pro/open players the rest AM's two aces where hit by Pittsburgh Flying Disc Society Scott Hartle on hole 4 and Canton, Ben Schreckengost a 300+' shot on hole 6 congrats to you both. Both pros where from Massillon Kevin Whitlock of ZW Photo won Open Masters and Dan Davis won open, dont fall off your seat people yes i said Dan Dynamite Davis won a open PDGA event didn't matter to Dan who was there or how much cash he won you could tell in his eyes it was like winning 25,000 congrats to both Open players 2011 maybe your years. Ryan Banks from Wooster set the pace in AM1 while Team Just Disc Golf and SCDGA member Thomas Milkshake Randau AKA 4LOCOBELL took home the win in AM2 (the intermediate division) The wingfoot zeppelins treasurer James MOOSE Graham got his first PDGA victory as a recreational player in AM3 division, way to go MOOSE!!! The wingfoot course seem to play fast for the event, we got some good feedback on the event through the PDGA evaluation form. Thanks without your comments or concerns we can not get better. We are glad that everyone had fun.

We're going to be hosting a few course clean-up days during october. We really need to get the tee sings moved before the ground freezes. We did a ton of work to clean up lines and greens on the 16th, so now its time to tackle the task of moving tee signs. This is no easy task, and the more manpower we can get the better! I'm hoping to get a crew together this Sunday the 24th. Give me a shot if you'd like to help!

Also, if you'd like to be a club member shoot me out a PM or email. In the abscence of a Secretary I will start keeping the role until we find one. The purpose of the free memberships is for us to put together a core of people to show Parks and Rec how serious we are about making this club strong and well run. Join up now to have a say in how the club's foundation is established. We will be ratifying our charter sometime in the next month or two (likely at the onset of the winter point series), and each club member will recieve a copy and have a chance to speak on it. Our goal with the Zeppelins is to make this a COMMUNITY effort. Its not about individuals. I'll be posting exerts from the charter as we solidify them so people can start to get a peak at what's going down. It took some doing, but we've definitely laid a strong foundation for a new disc golf club at Wingfoot State Park. We are in the process of finalizing the club's charter and we've established a strong connection with the Department of Parks and Recreation. They are essentially giving us carte blanche to do as we please with this course, including adding additional pin placements and holes. We've got many exciting plans for the course! But, before we can set those into motion, we need to establish a membership base.

So, to get the ball rolling, we are offering club memberships free of charge. These free memberships will be valid until March of 2011, when we will host our inaugural season-opening event, which will repeat on a yearly basis. We want the disc golf community to have a say in how things are run in this club and to work together to make the Zeppelins an amazing organization.

Here are the highlights of the Zeppelin's charter:

~ Yearly Season Opening Events. Memberships will need to be renewed at or after each of these events.
~ Monthly Meeting: Each month, the club will have a members-only event, that will be followed by a club meeting. At these meetings, each officer will be expected to make a report, and crucial information regarding club activities will be shared. This will also be a chance for members to speak their minds, and have input regarding club activities.
~ End of the Year Events
~ Two Membership Tiers:
~ Standard Tier: Bag Tag Challenge, monthly members-only events, a vote in club elections, intimate involvement in club related decisions and activities, entry fee discounts into tournaments at Wingfoot, and merchandise specials (not available with free membership).
~ Premium Tier: All Standard Tier benefits, plus customized club apparel, such as mini discs, hats, t-shirts, fly-dry polos, and golf towels.
~ Course Improvement: The Zeppelins are not making money for our organization, but rather for our courses. Our goal is to have all the bells and whistles at Wingfoot. Multiple pin placements, concrete tees, quality tee signs, benches and the most well-manicured course around. Plus, there's a ton of unused space at that park...who knows what we could do with that ;)

Also, if you have an interest in being involved in the club in a leadership roll, please let me know! We'd like to find two more people willing to assist with course maintenance and keeping track of the club roster.

On a personal note:
I am thrilled to be a part of getting this off the ground, but Jay Kovach was the one who did the behind-the-scenes work with Parks and Rec. He's done a great deal to get this thing off the ground. Thanks a bunch Jay!

Also, there is MUCH work to be done. We've barely gotten the ball rolling. It will take a community effort to make this work. A club is only as strong as its members. This club doesn't exists to serve the individual, but the community as a whole. Please be patient while we make things happen. Its takes time and effort. Don't be part of the problem. If you want something done, help to get it done. We will accomplish so much more by working together as a community!

Good things are happening! Sky's the limit!
