What a great tournament!! I haven't played much this year, so this was just a joy--getting out with all the amazing ladies in the region (and having time to socialize afterwards and not get up in the dark to make tee off)! Very much appreciate your efforts to pull this all together.

Event fees have been paid and report submitted. Thanks everyone for coming and helping make the tournament (we hope) a success!

Tee times for Saturday are now posted.

Are the tee times going to be posted soon? Many people are traveling and making arrangements. Thank you for all you do.

I'm signed up as a volunteer, I just got word that I have to work till 11 a.m. Saturday. Will it be ok if I show up at 11:20 or so?
Andrew Fish October 18, 2020 at 2:03am
We just sent an e-mail to all registered players, volunteers, sponsors, and caddies via the e-mail addresses provided with your signup. This includes the caddy book and the link to the player meeting, among other useful information. If you did not receive this e-mail, contact [email redacted] and also update your registration to reflect your correct e-mail address.

I thought I couldn't make it and dropped out last month. Is there any way I can get back in??
You're welcome to re-register for the waitlist, sorry, can't put you directly back in.

Does anyone have any camping recommendations or have a place my husband and I could pitch a tent? Thanks!
Contact Black Hills Regional Park. It's about a half an hour from the course.

Will spectators be allowed?i can't seem to find any information regarding that.
I would discourage it. We're awaiting approval from the County of our health and safety plan. Montgomery County is in Phase II, which limits gathering size. So we have had to make the case that even though we exceed 50 people at the event, it can be run safely.

Hi everyone, quick update just under 3 weeks out! Allie and I have a draft layout we plan to post this week. We'll also be receiving any comments from the County to our event plan. We've ordered t-shirts, and will be putting together all the player packs and recording a player meeting video this coming weekend!
Also of note, it pains us to say that we won't be able to provide lunches or water jugs this year. Please plan to bring enough to last you for the day. We will have some ...

Hey Andrew, sorry to be a bother. I saw I dropped to number 8 on the waitlist and when I asked earlier you said possibility of ghost cards. Is this still a possibility? If so I need to book a hotel. Thanks!
At this point ghost cards are unlikely. There is still a chance you could get in depending on whether the waitlist moves. That's up to folks telling us if they need to drop, etc.

I'm not sure how to go about this but I need to withdraw from this tournament. Something came up and I cannot make the trip to MD. Can you help me please?
Saw your refund request and have processed. Sorry you can't make it; hopefully next year!

Hi! So I was wondering how I add a caddy for my friend Sarah Caffey who is playing in the novice division. I signed her up but she does not have a disc golf scene account or pdga. Her caddy's name is Alex Abdalla. Please let me know if there is anything I need to do on my end! Thanks!
If you go back to the registration page, there's a "CAD" caddy option in the dropdown that will let you or Alex sign up. Thanks!

Hey Andrew. Was wondering if you were going to make this tee times so more women could play? I saw you said there was a possibility. Just wondering if this is still on the table so I can book a hotel if necessary. Thanks
Thanks for checking in. We're planning to submit our event plan to the County's health department. That will determine some of our logistics. At this point it seems like shotgun starts are the likeliest possibility, but we may be able to fit a few more players in with ghost cards.

Can I move to the FP40 division?

Hey ladies!!! whats everyone doing for housing?! Does anybody need a roommate for hotel/camping/house, anything! Please let me know. Feel free to facebook me or comment :)
Hey! My husband, two-year-old, and I will be making the trip up for the tournament. We usually camp, but if you're interested in splitting an airbnb or something, we might be interested!
We are in the process of reaching out to hotels/visitor's bureau. Informal head count for hotels here or [email redacted] and we can try to grab a good rate.
Thanks Andrew! Emily- i LOVE camping so if yall do that let me know and i can book a spot near you guys :)

Even though it's filled at 72, can people still register to volunteer?
Thanks. Something could be posted on the Maryland disc gold and Seneca creek dis golf group on Facebook, regarding housing/places to stay.
Andrew Fish July 15, 2020 at 8:00pm
After a remarkable flurry of signups, we're down to just a few available spots! We've capped the amateur + junior registrations at 50, but don't panic. The waitlist is open and it's possible that there will be some turnover on the waitlist and/or we'll be able to open up a few more spots if we run the event on tee times. If you have any questions, e-mailing [email redacted] is the best way to get in touch with us.
Thanks to everyone who's signed up so far, please help spread the word to your local clubs and potential sponsors so everyone attending can have a great experience!
Tee times would be fantastic! I hope more spots open up. Very cool to have an all ladies A tier!
