Trying to recap the event for my notes.
DJ won the frozen turkey for the Pro/AM1 divisions.
Anyone remember who won the turkey for the weenie arms / mixed dub division?
Anyone remember who won the Lidstrom disc in the raffle?

The Capuchin Soup Kitchen breakdown went like this: $1 / Player = $80, 50/50 - $62, Mulligans - $236, Raffle - $202 = Total $580. So far for 2011 we have raised $2919 which is about $400 more than where we were last year post-Turkey Open.

OK, let's table this discussion for another time and get back to what we are focused on.
We handed out 2 frozen de-feathered birds and had an awesome 2 November fall days for our event at Sunnybrook.
We did have a small frost delay as the morning hours dipped down into the low 30s but started the 1st round around 10:30 as Chef Schulte rang in the event with a real shot-gun.
We finished off the round before dark fell and after packing up my car I was home by 8:30.
Thanks for not lambasting me with another surprise birthday party post event - I really needed the rest.
The Turkey raised $580 for the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.
We are now at $2991 or about $400 more than where we were at the same time last year.
In addition, since the event went well enough, my post-event discussion with Sunnybrook went very well and as we move towards bigger events or possibly a more permanent course I will keep ya'll posted.
Thank you for participating and helping us move closer to some of our bigger goals...

Wait, you've completely abandoned any logical sense. Because we have a stereotype we have to live up to it? That is the first absurd thing you said in that post. Let's break this down logically. Because people from the south have the stereotype of being racist means they should be? I hope you realize how stupid that sounds. Second on the agenda is saying that the people at Sunnybrook know of the stereotype surrounding disc golfers. Remember, disc golf is a small sport. It's very easy to believe that people don't know what we are categorized as. Third on the list of asinine things in that last post is saying I'm responsible for making it publicly known. If you had never been a borderline retard and posted what you did in the first place, I would have nothing to say about it. Maybe not posting it and trying to make the stereotype a reality would make it less noticeable next time. Thinking and typing are not mutually exclusive.
