OK, let's table this discussion for another time and get back to what we are focused on.
We handed out 2 frozen de-feathered birds and had an awesome 2 November fall days for our event at Sunnybrook.
We did have a small frost delay as the morning hours dipped down into the low 30s but started the 1st round around 10:30 as Chef Schulte rang in the event with a real shot-gun.
We finished off the round before dark fell and after packing up my car I was home by 8:30.
Thanks for not lambasting me with another surprise birthday party post event - I really needed the rest.
The Turkey raised $580 for the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.
We are now at $2991 or about $400 more than where we were at the same time last year.
In addition, since the event went well enough, my post-event discussion with Sunnybrook went very well and as we move towards bigger events or possibly a more permanent course I will keep ya'll posted.
